didn't really want to start two days in a row but antsy to say good morning!!!!!

another day of bank training -and closer to getting to "my" schedule whatever that is!

hugs and prayers.............

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Congratulations on getting the bank position, Margo!
This is my last week of work before my "summer" vacation.  I will be teaching Office Administration students in July and August  who are completing a 12 month 'fast track' program.  I am ready for some time off, so I'm glad that it's come early.
It's hectic at school right now with the semester ending - lots of marking and all kinds of paper work to complete before I can start my holiday.
Have a great day.

When I was working, I totally hated Mondays.  I totally hear ya on that.  Now if I have a doctor's appt I hate it just on the principle of it.  :)

Good morning, Margo!

Way to go on your new job and schedule!

Good morning everyone!

Margo's post encourages me to go down and register for my fall classes.  I have no doctor appointments today and nothing pressing so ... why not?  I just need to go find the fall schedule so I know what to sign up for!

I didn't do anything productive yesterday but I think that was a very necessary thing.  I've been so stressed.

If I don't go to register for classes, I'm sure I will do nothing productive again today ... but there's nothing wrong with that, right?

So have a marvellous Monday everyone!

Will go to work at 8:00, but then leave at 9:00 for Kansas City to see my surgeon for my 2 month post-op visit.  KC is 2 hours away.  This will be my first trip by myself.  My DH works today.  He told me he could probably take off and go with, but there's no reason for that.  I'm a big girl (but getting smaller LOL) and can get there on my own.  No big deal to me.  I'll stop in St. Joseph, MO on the way home at the mall.  I'm really needing some new tennis shoes.

I'll talk to Dr. Hoehn about gall bladder surgery.  I'm hoping he can schedule it in about 2 weeks.....right after we visit my parents in Illinois the first weekend in May.  I really don't want to have the surgery before then.  My parents still worry about my health.  They think I'm dying from WLS, so I need to be in good health when I see them again so they can be convinced that I'm ok.  And they wonder why I didn't tell them BEFORE surgery!   They do know about the impending GB surgery.  They'll worry a little about it, but since it's such a common surgery, they'll be fine.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Monday's are busy and long. Tom has another appointment with his doctor and this time - I'm going with him. He knows that I'm a worry wart and tends to give me the abriviated version of the visits. Then I stew and worry even more.

Tomorrow starts our water aerobics class. I tried on my bathing suits to make sure they look okay. The suits look fine - it's ME that looks horrible. One big prune. Imagine how it will look after an hour in the water. AfraidWonder if they will let me wear a turtleneck and leggings?

Visions of a bunch of sistahs sitting in a hot tub, with all our loose skin bubbling to the surface, and our batwings flapping in unison. ..... Not to mention what was floating out of the tops of our bathing suits.......

It's GOT to be better than that!

Damn, that was a fun weekend!

OMG, this reminded me of something funny at the salon. One of the girls referred to her arms as "bat wings" and another asked

"What's your wing span?"    Funny and sad at the same time.
