TGIF!

Another day another opportunity to do something healthy for myself......I did my mini walk this morning and will do a 2nd one later today.

PLUS.........I signed up for a 5k walk!  It's in June so I'll be fine to do it.  5K is not very long for a walk but  it's something to look forward to.  In May when I hope I can start jogging again I'll start "training" to build my endurance and will try to jog the full 5k.  This will be my first running 5k.   And if I can't jog yet, I'll just walk it.  I'm trying to get Matthew to do it with me but if he doesn't want to I'll still go.

June 6th is Weigh****chers Walk-it Day......it's happening across the country......anyone else want to take the challenge with me??   You can join a walking group in your local area....

Hi Ruth,
I went on 2 walks yesterday, did a total of 7 miles.

Right now I'm getting ready to go on a 3 mile walk with Juli.
Today at home I'll take a long bike ride...it's beautiful outside!
Enjoy your walk.
Next Saturday I will be volunteering at the Borgess Run. Someone's got to help run it right??? LOL
I'll get my exercise later next Saturday after the run.

Happy Friday!
At the gym at 5:30am. 45 minutes on the PACE machines & a trip around the indoor track.
Made a commitment to a 5k, Race for the Cure, in September. I will take your challenge for the June 6 walk.
