OT: Thanks to everyone

You guys are one wonderful family.  Thank you to all who said prayers and sent good vibes for my friend Pat.  They did surgery and cut a square to relieve the fluid that was building up around her heart and lungs and drained it.  The doctor said this tumor on/in her lung presented just as the textbook said it would; along with the congestive heart failure.  Since they've begun draining the fluid Pat has perked up.  They inserted the port for her chemo and she starts on that Monday.  The doctors told her that this type of chemo treatment is pretty tough and she'll probably have a rough time of it for the next two months, but hey, for two months....  She's a fighter, she'll persevere, and all of her friends will be here for her.

Glad to hear your friend has perked up a bit.  I hope the procedure and chemo bring her much relieve.  My thoughts and prayers continue to be with her....miracles can happen!!
