Good morning Jan & all. Well it is morning for a little while yet.
Getting ready to go to N. Carolina. I am so excited I can't get organized. I have packed all the things we brought home last year when Jamie left. He is a musician so we have guitars, amps, & a bunch of other stuff. Also I have 2 large boxes of non perishable food for him. I have to watch the weather to see what to take for us. Marc put up a fence for the dogs, a friend will come by 3 or 4 times a day to check on them. Also my older son will be here at least once a day.
We have never left them before like this. No kennel would take the puppy, he is too young & the apt my son is getting
said no pets!!!

Jan I envy you getting your garden in already. It's so nice here, but this is Michigan & it could snow tomorrow!!!

Hope you all have a great day

Morning Jan & Everyone Else!

You must have some piece of property to be pushing a lawn mower for all that time!  I remember when I was my old self, it would take me almost 2 hours to do my mowing because I could not do it all at once and my property is not all that big, 150 x 40 lot. . .  anyway, for all you gardners out there, just beware of that awful scourge, posion ivy, oak, sumac. . .  I certainly have learned the hard way here, still suffering, looking like I have some new sores, not sure where it's coming from, what a nightmare this is. . .  then add to it, that last night, I gave Roxie a bath because she has been itching and biting at herself something awful, so I got a medicated soap, took her in the smaller bathroom where she so nicely took the bath, then, after I dried her off and was cleaning the floor in the bathroom, she was all full of hot pepper energy and the door was closed, but not shut and she wanted to play, well she jumped on the door, just as I was getting up and the handle got me right in the head, lots of blood, a little dizzy, my good friend, who happens to be a nurse came by, looked at it and declared I needed some stitches, so 2 hours later, CAT scanned to find out I really do have a brain and 5 staples to close it up, I went home and fell exhausted into my bed. . .  whatever black cloud has been following me for the last two weeks, I truly hope is done with me. . .  tomorrow I see the doc for a wound check and probably some more medication for this scourge I have, tonight I take Roxie to the vet, cause she is still itching and biting and tomorrow Tony and I were supposed to get away for the weekend. . . he insists on coming down, but probably not going away now. . .

Got lots to do here at work, better get back to it. ..

Have a great day one and all. . .

Hugs, Laureen

Oh My Goodness.......take better care of yourself.....take it easy......maybe lay low for a day and things will brighten up for you.

Hope your head is feeling ok today.  Don't overdo it...maybe rest is best today.

Hi everyone - crazy busy this week with work, going to training session all day yesterday, doctor appts., and taking tomorrow off - oh that's the good thing!   I'm going to spend the weekend with my sister, 3 sisters of a family we grew up with, 2 other sisters we've known all of our adult lives, and a couple other women we love!  We have a cabin overlooking the Mississippi River an hour or so south of the Twin Cities and it is going to be FUN!!!

I hit my 100 pounds off this week - which was a significant milestone.  I've been taking care of lots of things, wearing new clothes, interviewing for a new job - life is good!

Hope you are all enjoying the spring weather and the weekend ahead.

Good morning Jan and everyone....

Just another day...nothing much happening.

My cleaning fairy is doing her magic cleaning and doing laundry. She is then going grocery shopping and a few other errands for me. What a sweetie.

I just finished my work week at 10:00 AM...yay off until Monday!!

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Many prayers to those in need.

Love and hugs to all....connie d

I want a cleaning fairy!!!!!!!

Oddly enough I actually kind of enjoy doing housework.....but a one time helper would be nice.
