If you got an email, it was a HOAX!!!

Not very nice. I got TWO of them.

Where oh where do people come up with these ideas?

Yeah, you'd think they'd have something better to do.   Her email password is reset now, and the email didn't say where to send the $, so I guess no harm was done.

Jan....that is so sad....why do people do these things....they need to get out and get a real job or volunteer their services somewhere....IDIOTS!!!

Aloha Jan....so good to see you!! I just turned on computer and was scratchiing my head over message from Susan who was in London? Didn't makes sense to me, so I deleted. That is scary stuff, though....when someone can take a friend's e-mail and pretend it is them. Computers are wonderful, but the freakos will always find a way to make something wonderful wicked, selfish and dangerous.

Jan, I want to thank you so very much for calling me and then fixing my e-mail account while I was frantically calling my bank today!  What a life saver you were! 

The phone calls started pouring in, starting with my SIL asking if I was alright. She knew that I wasn't in London, but some other friends didn''t. My long time high school/college friend called nearly in tears! It makes me realize how lucky I am that so many were concerned about my welfare.

If you haven't gotten the gist of this, someone scammed my e-mail and sent out a message that I had been mugged while traveling in England. They wanted to send lots of money. A friend answered the message and asked if it was indeed me, and of course, being a CROOK, they replied " yes". So, being the smart cookie she is, asked them what the last service was that I did for her at the salon. No response. Gee, ya think?

Anyway, Jan, and everyone, your kindness filled my heart. Thank you again.

Did anyone report that fraudulent person?

I got the exact same email, supposedly from one of my facebook friends last week...sad how low some will stoop.
