Exercise - Let's get moving......Monday

Good Morning!
It's Monday, UGH, is anyone even remotely interested in exercise...........I must admit it is the furthest thing from my mind at this moment.  Actually I guess it's not the furthest thing or I would not be talking about it right now. 

Anyone getting out there and doing something to loosen up, move the joints, rev their engine??

Happy Monday morning Ruth,

Well it will be a 3 mile walk with my working buddies today during lunch/break time.
It's beautiful outside so I'm skipping gym spin class and riding my bike at home in the country...or going for a walk. Been doing much more walking lately and even jogged a little thanks to doggie sitting a pitbull/terrior mix dog that is high energy. Tink even wore out my other dogs.

I'll also work with free weights tonigh****ching 24 (during the commercials) You can really work the arms during an hour long show for sure!...giggles.

I did over 10 miles (45 mins) on the recumbent bike with the tension cranked up and a good book this morning... 

Sometimes I don't know if I'm prouder of the weight loss, or the commitment to working out that I've stuck to for over 4 years....

To the gym I went at 5:30 this morning, yes that is AM! Worked on the PACE machines for 45 minutes tension set at a 4, did 3 sets of 20 on 7 of the 8 machines.

Hi Ruth, Confession time. . . didn't make time to exercise Saturday or Sunday. But I was back at it today. Stayed on the eliptical til I crossed the 4 mile mark. It does feel good to work up a sweat. My butt cheeks are sore today but I don't think it's from exercise. I think it's from sitting on those hard, metal folding chairs at the Cowboy Gathering Saturday afternoon and evening.  Should have taken a cushion! Not much cushioning on my backend since my lower body lift!

Hey Ruth and everyone
I did my usual 30 min on the incline eliptical at the PEAK...:) wow what a sweat... I go every am at 6 and do the cardio and then 3 times a week also do 30 min of weight lifting type stuff in addition to it .
Cant beleive that if I miss , I FEEL LIKE YUK...  whod a thunk it :)

Hi Shirley,

First WOW, 6am every morning...that's terrific.  I really have to get back into my normal routine for sleep and waking up.  I hate not being able to get out of bed by 6:30.

I'm feeling pretty good......getting antsy and itchy to get out and do my cardio walk and weight lifting.  I'm so afraid to over do it....don't want more stitches popping and don't want to cause extra swelling (got enough of that already).  Mentally I feel ready to get out there and do gardening, and stuff, but physically I know I'm not ready.....geez after my shower this morning I had to lay down and rest!!!  But all in all I'm doing really well.........THANKS for asking!!
