Morning crewbies!!!  Sorry about yesterday, it was just crazy and I ran most of the day with my hair on fire. Hate days like that, but today is a new one, right!

Today's recipe is one of my family's favorite. It is  for refried beans (the recipe calls for black beans, but I use pintos) that isn't fried. I call them "un-fried refries". It makes a lot, but freezes well, or you can cut the recipe in half.  They make great burritos on their own, or you can take some of the beans and add ground beef or diced cooked chicken. Lots of options.

Now, here's yesterday's menu. It sucked. I'm so depressed about this weight gain I don't want to eat, but in my head I know that it's from not eating enough that's making me gain. But, head says, "you're gaining, you can't eat more, you'll gain more'. This is a sad state of affairs. Maybe I need a Shrink to shrink. Thinking 'bout it.

Hi Susan and fellow rowers...I'm still detoxing my body as best I can. I did end up eating a small bowl of homemade chili after I got home from spin class. But I had the calories to play with and I will not deprive myself if I am truly really hungry. Pass the water!!!!! LOL

S: Clif energy protein bar with 6 almonds added for extra crunch...see I know I miss my crunch!

S:  yogurt or Klondike sugar free/fat free crunch bar
D:  chicken with broccoli
S:  s/f jello w/banana and strawberries

I'm still in my unmodivated food mood so today I think will be......

B- Cold cereal...mixed high fiber cereal, 1 banana
S- Protein Shake w/added fiber
L- Salmon, chopped salad, pickled beets, maybe some bulgur wheat if I have time

D- Spag with diced tomato and asparagus cubed chicken

Hi Susan and all you menu planners,

Wow, yesterday I stepped on the scale and gained the three pounds I lost.  I do not have a clue how that happened.  I did really well yesterday, howver, like Connie I had some popcorn in the evening.


B- Protein drink - Half of banana

L- Turkey and ham and cheese roll up
S- Protein drink with some sugar free peaches
D- Chilli
S-  Dreaded popcorn
