We've all heard this a million times over the course of our lives...at least I have.....but I'm curious if we really do this? I know when I'm riding my bike daily I look forward to the next days ride.
Is there an exercise you get jazzed about???
Okay I absolutely love water aerobics. Look forward to going to the gym.
Now spin class, I'm okay once I get there but I spin because my BF Deb loves it.
I tolerate working with free weights.
I do better in instructor lead classes...I'm pushed to my limit and love the socialness of classes.
Okay today I did my 3 mile walk during lunch and break. It's windy out today but I might just ride my bike when I get home but I will work on my free weights for my arms. I just do it!
Tomorrow is water aerobics...it's my "girlfriend Saturday" hubby is working on a side job.
I'm also jazzed about dancing...yes folks...dance like no ones looking!
And of course I love walking.
Yes, you need to find some exercise you love and it doesn't need to be boring. How about rollerskating, skiing, swimming...the gal down the hall from me is 18 mths out. She has started running of all things. Good for her! My body hates to run. Fast walking I can do.

I'm hoping now that the surgery stuff is wrapping up I can settle down and make some new friends to do things with.
I truly LOVE my water jogging! Today the pool was at 86 degrees and I water-jogged for 3 1/2 hours! Ive always loved the water even as a child..spent my summer days at the local pool...9 am swimming lessons then biked all the way home..about ten miles, had lunch then went back to the pool and didnt leave til they closed at 8pm. So being in the sal****er pool now is sheer bliss for me...except when the temps drop...brr....but I am committed to three time a week.
I jog to the water areobics music, staying at the back of the pool, incorpirating the arms movements and stll jog to the beat...I get my heart rate up pretty good too. Then after the ladies (and a few gents) leave the pool and head for coffee hour on the pool deck, I stay in the water and work out..I've developed quite a bicep! and it's completely pain-free!!!
I feel energized to be able to move so easily after eleven years of lymphodema in my legs that got me into a wheelchair, then worked my way to a walker, then 2 canes, then one cane and now NO CANE!
Since I started this exercize mid-January (after not exercizing at all those 11 years), I've lost 27 pounds, 4 inches off my hips and 3 inches off my waist. My pants are hanging on me and I delight in grumbling and tugging the waistband up over my boobies and under my armpits!
Funny, though, I have been unable to lose any more weight since we got home tho my clothes are baggy...DS says I'm still building muscle and losing fat, so not to worry. It's a BONUS that I feel so good!
Did I mention that i LOVE water-jogging???
