WHAT'S NEW EASTER SUNDAY
Oh that was a good idea ... I already made a cake and I'll give a lot of it away ... some for me, some for my neighbors, some for Gayle who will drive me to my pain doc tomorrow and watch the cats while I'm gone, some for my shrink, some for Jeff and April where I used to work who also have April birthdays this week (we all sat in the same row when I first started working). I won't eat as much of it as it seems. But I'll remember the cupcakes next year.
Good morning Cindy and all who follow,
For everyone who celebrates, Happy blessed Easter! And even if you don't, Super Sunday to all!!!
Spring has really sprung around here and I feel like I am too--springing here and there, lol.
On Friday, TB and I picked up our grandson and took him to this really cool playground which is a child's fantasy come true. The structures are patterned after an old Western fort complete with Indian reservation, barracks and what have you. You climb up and down, there are slides, swings, sandboxes--you name it, this place has got it. TB and I happily followed Little T all over, up down and around. Now our bodies are paying for it but it was so worth it!
Yesterday was the supervised visit and that was ok. Little T and his mom colored eggs--well, she did. She held his hand through it. He could have done it himself but I figured I'd just keep my trap shut.
There was the usual zaniness. Apparently two of the adult children forgot to get their registrations renewed. A policeman stopped my son on his way home from work. My son has some Asperger's going on so his rapport with people is a bit strained and he must have annoyed the cop somehow. The cop threatened to have Bill's car towed but agreed to let my son call AAA. Sigh. So we're having to drive him to and from wor****il he can get to the DMV. Luckily my daughter has the day off. She's been taking a chance and driving around anyway. She has a lead foot and I told her to be careful as we're not chauffeuring the whole household until they get to the DMV. Yeeeeeesh!
Today's plans: originally to try and have everyone eat dinner together at 6:30. Now that we're driving all over town, we decided that three of us would eat at 5 and then we'd get the other two (Bill and Kristin, the youngest) between 6-7 p.m. They can heat up their dinner!
Have a wonderful day all!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
