Rowing and sailing, what are you eating today?
Morning Crew mates!
Hope all of you are doing well sailing down this river together. I'm casting the fates to the wind today since it's my birthday. Not even going to plan anything. My bad! But it's okay, it's okay to give myself permission to just have "a day". We all need that once in a while, right? Besides, I figure it's one day where I don't have to ask permission OR forgiveness.
Today's recipe is from Recipezaar.com, my favorite cooking web site. It calls for 1 egg white, twice, which I think is a typo, so I'm just going to use one egg. Won't change the fat content much. Also, if you've never made tzatziki, let the shredded cucumber sit in a colander for about 30 minutes to allow some of the moisture to drain off. It's great on raw veggies, too, and if you use Greek yogurt, you'll get lots of extra protein.

Good Morning Susan and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
I'm still not home after surgery on Thursday but doing pretty well. The room we are in has a full kitchen with a full size refrigerator and freezer so it has not been to challenging to eat healthy. I'm eating lots of small meals....except for breakfasts that's my biggest meal theses days. Some of the pills I'm taking has to be on an empty stomach, some 15 mins before eating, some with food....it's almost a full time job just keeping track of all the pills!!!!!!
Yesterdays food:
B- scrambled eggs (2), toast (2), 4 tater tots, cranberry juice
S- Blueberry yogurt (4oz)
L= 3 or 4 oz Turkey breast, small salad (no dressing),
S- banana
S- protein shake with added fiber
D- 3 oz meatloaf (I made at home and brought it here), asparagus, 1/2 roma tomato,
S- 10-12 grapes
S- oatmeal
TODAYS FOOD:

S-Yogurt (4oz)
L= 3 or 4 oz Turkey breast, small salad (no dressing),
S- Blueberry muffin top (one of those healthy things)
S- banana
S- protein shake with added fiber
D- 3 oz roasted chicken breast (Matthew bought at the supermarket the other day), Salad
S- ???May or may not have something depends on how I'm feeling...

Yeah I'm sure some of the postings I did in the last 2 days don't make a whole lot of sense....I shouldn't type while on drugs...LOL
I hope to go home tomorrow, if not I'd think Tuesday the latest. There's no place like home! and I'm sure my furbaby wants to come too...
