Let's get moving this Sunday!
I made it to the gym and hope to go later this morning. We'll be heading out of town about Wednesday and it seems like I never get the exercise I'd like to when I'm gone. No excuses for not getting in a good walk each day, but for some reason I find other things to do. Like walking with Hannah and Clara. Lots of discoveries but not much exercise. Our trips to the playground are like that too. We kick a soccer ball back and forth and I do a lot of lifting up to the "big girl" slide.
I hope everyone is just out there enjoying life as spring allows us to spend more time outdoors. Ruth is still cruising the hallways. When I get really sweaty I get a rash sometimes on my inner thighs where the loose skin rubs. Probably TMI there but Ruth I thought of that when you talked about the sore areas. I definitely think I'll do that surgery in a cool part of the year! Hope you get to come home soon.
Wherever you are and whatever you are doing stop and look around and be thankful for what you can now do that seemed so difficult a short time ago. I couldn't walk more than a few yards without stopping to catch my breath. Now I can work hard at the gym for 1.5 hours. I feel it but it's a "good" feel! (that sounds a bit risque. . . not hardly!)

Aloha friend........You are doing so great with your exercise!! I really need a big ole kick in the buh-tocks to get me going again. There is no excuse for me not doing exercise, except I'm just too lazy. Medicare will cover a lot of exercise places, and I really need to build up muscles to go under the hangy down skin! Plus, I have the beach right here and don't even walk that anymore.
Feel free to send me a gigantic kick in my posterior....I definitely need it!
I so love hearing about your times with your little ones...makes me miss mine a lot. My son and DIL just bought a home in Scotts Valley (Santa Cruz), and I am so happy for them. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a HUGE playroom downstairs. It also backs up to a huge open space. With three very active little boys, it will be so perfect. They say it even have a "granny room" and maybe I could come for a month at a time!! We'll have to see about that....Ha!
Any, keep up the good work, and enjoy the springtime!!
Aloha nui loa,

A kick only if I can deliver it in person!
My little drama queens had their 2 yr check up last week. Erin said it took the doctor, nurse, and her to get Hannah measured. Then to weigh her the doctor had to weigh himself first and then hold her. Erin said when the clothes come off the battle begins. It's not like they are shy, but for some reason that just gets them. When Hannah gets going Clara chimes in. Their doctor was a college football player from Hawaii (as in Samoan heritage) and is huge! Can't imagine how one little 25 pounder can get the best of them. Erin even tried bribing them with ice cream but nothing worked. As soon as they were dressed and in the car they fell asleep. Can you just imagine when we have them about 14: broken hearts, bad hairdos, homework!!
It was so nice to see you here this morning. I'm finally getting in a routine at the gym. The hardest part is getting myself there. Once there I have yet to not "perform."
