Yesterday I didn't get called to work. I'd already taken a shower and didn't really want to do the sweaty gym thing early in the day. So my neighbor and I went for a long walk. It was VERY windy 2.5 miles. Today I'll get back to the gym after work. What are you doing to get into shape, maintain your already toned body or lose weight?

WOW, Karen, you're an early bird. I couldn't sleep, woke up at 1 a.m., and finally around 1:25 a.m., I got up. I'm sitting here drinking a cup of decaf and getting ready to get an early start with work. I'm not sure I'll make it through the day without a nap, but we'll see - lol

Hey Karen and all
Did my gyming yesterday LOL '
On Friday I swap it and go after work and do the eliptical and the weight training and then to eat salad with grilled chicken ...Ok I am in a pattern but it works so guess I will keep it.
I find I do better if I get a pattern and stick with it so that I go workout everyday .

Hi Karen,
I am working on sculpting my body with exercise.
Did spin class yesterday and went for a 3 mile walk.
Today I'm not going to the gym but will walk with my buddies here at work around the hospital. It's one mile all the way around. Chris stops at one mile and Julie and I take off to complete the 2nd mile. Then I always take the stairs, never the elevator unless I'm pushing a cart.
If it's not too windy will either walk at home tonight or ride my bike.

So much for good intentions! Got called to a high school to shadow a hearing impaired student. (I who know ONE sign, the twins taught me. . . MORE!) So when they found an interpreter I had to head across town to an elementary school. Instead of the 3 hours I thought I'd have I spent all day. By the time I got done, I stopped at the store and came home. . . I PROMISE that I'll get up first thing in the morning and go to the gym!
