It can't be fun, Margo.  I don't blame you for not wanting to keep moving - it's so disruptive!

Ahh Margo, sorry Michael is having a hard time adjusting to the new place, but perhaps you can tell him that wherever you guys go, there will be periods of adjustment and yeah, a hobby or something to make him feel a part of living would be good, at least it's "spring" and hopefully he can get out and about and enjoy that at least.  I know it's hard on you sistah, hope that he settles in. . .

Sending you lots of hugs, Laureen

Candy, good for you. I am busier now than ever before. At least it's stuff I enjoy. I seem to have grandkids a lot, gardening, making jewelry, & teaching the kids how to cook. I have more fun than they do. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Margo, sorry about Michael. Do you think he will get into working outside? Your yard was beautiful.

I worked in the yard for a few hours the other day. Now if I could get rid of this cold I will do it again. I think the snow is going to miss us. Sorry for all of you downstate.

My son called from Afghanistan yesterday. He is so ready to come home. Now he is training the next group. His unit will be home next week, but he won't for about a month.

May God bless all the families of our soldiers. This is harder than raising teenagers!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful day, & Maui Karen, we miss you!

Hi Candy ,and all those who dropped in already and those who are yet to come.

Candy how happy you are going to be.  Finally, you get to plan your day on things you WANT to do.

Going over my in laws to help my daughter clean their house.  Right now they are not capable.

My brother emails me, telling me to put my sister in the hospital.  Both, mentally and physically she needs it.  However, telling me to do it all alone kinda P@#@#!@ me off.  I wrote him back that we all have to meet to discuss this issue.  She really is not going to want to go.   I really could use the help with her.

Nothing else going on.  The weather here has been beautiful.  I am not going to like cold weather with the possibility of snow moving in.  YUCK

I lost five pounds the last two weeks,.  I am really thrilled.  It has been a long stall and now it has given me motivation again.  See the things that make us happy.

The dogs got out of the fence yesterday and they all ran after a guy on his bike .  My daughter was home alone and tried to coral four dogs on her own.  Finally she got them all to come back in.  This has never happened before.  I believe my son's girlfriend left the gate open.   We are lucky one of them didn't bite the guy.  Thank god for HUGE favors.

Well everyone have a nice day.

Will be thinking about all of you.

Peace
Mary

I am on my way.  What a ride it has been.

Hi Candy and my OFF family:

Congrats on  your pending retirement. Sounds like you have a plan. I wish I did. Being forced into retirement is a lot harder. I miss going to a job, although the job I had at the end was not one I liked very much. I just need something to do on a regular basis. I miss being with people.

Zip lining sounds like fun ... or scary. I'm too much of a klutz to try that.

Not much going on here. Watched basketball all day yesterday ... some really good games, a few upsets. More basketball today. My knee and my back really hurt yesterday and still hurt today, which tells me the storm is coming ... and today I'm having an IBS episode. Yuck.

Margo, sorry to hear about Michael ... I sure understand about being home all day and being bored and lonely. Maybe when spring gets here and he can get outside into the garden he'll feel better.

Well, not much else to say. Have a good day.

Thanks, Darlene.  For a bunch of years I've wondered if I would be able to make it this far.  It hasn't always been fun.  Now I'm glad I stuck it out.

Flying away on my broom has never looked better!
