I'm so jealous you can get cantaloupe this time of the year! It's one of my favorite fruits. When it's in season here, I cut a whole one up and keep it in the fridge while another is ripening on the counter. Homemade applesauce has been the winter substitute.

and the local supermarket has it on sale this week....  $ .99 cents each!!!!!  I'll be picking up 2 more on the weekend.  I'd mail you some but I fear it would get smashed...

Applesauce is good too!

Morning Susan,

B:  Mini wholewheat flatout bread w/2 thin slices of lean ham and swiss melted in between

S:  2 Fig Newtons

L:  Meatloaf and lowfat, low carb mac and cheese

S:  Orange

D:  Corned beef, cabbage, baby carrots and boiled red potato

S:  probably none. . .

Recipe sounds yummy, will try it soon

Although Tom is full of BLARNAY (sp?) he doesn't like corned beef.

B - the usual
L - salad & ham
S- apple & pb
D - pork roast & green beans

That's the same boring menu again.

Kisses

All 6'4" of him. He's a real charmer.

It was good to have him attend the meeting. Especially helpful was hearing the daily menus of others. He was reminded that after WLS we eat smaller portions and mostly protein.

I'm not sure if I'll ask him to attend the lap-band group with me, but definitely he needs the RNY group more often.
