What's new with you all? - Wednesday
It is too nice to do housework. Shucks, housework is boring no matter the weather.
The furbrats are going crazy with all the birds at the feeders. They can't decide which window gives the best view. There are ladybugs and flies outside on the screens which Annie is trying hard to reach. What a noisy bunch of cats today.
I am trying to cut down my coffee consumption --- a little bit. Man oh man what a headache. The heck with it, I'll keep this vice.
Last year, a Cornell grad student asked me to participate in her study of bariatric people. She has expanded her reasearch and asked if I would be part of her study again. Yes I will.

Afternoon George and OFF's
Just finished my lunch of turkey meatballs and a banana. Co worker and I went for a 45 min, 2.4mi walk around our block before lunch and now I'm ready to take a nap LOL Unfortunately, I am at work...so the nap will have to wait until I get home about 4:30.
So thankful today is Wednesday...the days are going too slow...only because there are no pressure deadlines looming over my head and its quiet in the office with the big wigs gone to Board of Directors meeting. Real hard to get motivated to do grunt work and daily catch up.
Not much on my plate outside of work either. Need to finish up income taxes...see how much I owe :-( and maybe do some laundry when I get home. I ordered new glasses so am hoping they arrive this afternoon over at Walmart...would love to be able to see without scratches in the lenses messing up my vision.
That's it for me...praying for all of you in NJ...flooding looks real bad on our news here...hopefully all of you are staying dry and out of danger.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm just home from work... I'm taking tomorrow off because I am just needing a day. I'm covering two schools and both want ALL of me! So tomorrow they get NONE! :) I am going to the doctor in the morning to set up getting B-12 injections instead of doing the sublingual. I think I'm running on empty because of the B thing (though it could be the running around like a chicken with my head cut off thing!). The end of the school year is crazy... everyone wants you, plus the meetings start up bigtime, which involve testing and preparation of paperwork. I'm involved with a committee at our district to develop social skill curriculum for all of special ed to use. I'm experimenting with ideas at my main school, and though it's exciting, I'm doing too much. Things will calm down in about two weeks when the therapist on maternity leave returns. I have three of her meetings this Friday and several testing sessions and therapy sessions to fit in. I don't want her to have to do anything but what is due in May/June.
Tonight, tired or not, I'm going to Kelley's for corned beef and cabbage, bagpipes, and green beer. I won't drink much- I'll mostly socialize..One of my TOPS ladies fell and got hurt the other day- she's in the hospital and I'm going to visit tomorrow if I get a chance. she's 86 and lives alone so she has to go to rehab after this. She's the sweetest thing- goes to plays and concerts with us.
I wish more West Coasters would post here... maybe a separate West Coast thread would help? I think they fear it's too late to post and no one will read them. I sometimes don't do it for that reason. Pipe up West Coast... where the heck are you?
