Aren't they the cutest, well next to the M&Ms ;) I thought it was time to move forward, so I changed the photo. . .

thanks laureen!!! seems like it is looking better already to me!! he is supposed to love his pill he has to take twice a day its beef flavor...lmao yeah he loves it alright....he shakes his head and backs up!!!! soooooo i have to open his mouth up and pop it in the back of his throat and then rub neck to make him swallow it!!!! so much for flavored medicne!!! LOL
as for the potholes here...my main complaint is the road in the complex. the public streets here so far have been taken care of in my neighborhood.
and i won't be one that complains its hot unless its at work behind food court with all the ovens going full blast!!!! so make sure you bring some of that nice southern warmth if its there on your trip!!!

first thing prayers going up from our house to all of you who need them or simply want them!
Pretty here in Michigan but chilly. I'm frosting my toes running out to the van to pack it. Of course some dummies don't have the sense the Good Lord gave them what with not putting shoes on when the ground is white with frost!
I am impatiently waiting for 245. that's when we head out for vacation and Miami. and the ocean, I have a thing for big water. Hubby needs the break just because he is a hard worker and deserves this vacation. I need to get by the ocean and finally deal with moms death. my weekend to lake Michigan didn't happen.
Robins are back green shoots are forcing their way up. I love spring.

I have absolutely no Irish in me, other than my first name, but the rest of me is German and Polish, but oh, well, I'll be Irish for a day. I have to get going. I tried to put on my new handicapped licensed plate yesterday myself, but I had problems getting the old one off ... finally got it off, but the one screw stuck to the plate and I couldn't get it off. So finally I had to call my mechanic and ask if I could come in today and have them do it for me. So I'll have to put my new plate in the window and drive over there. Oh well, it's not far ... hopefully, I won't attract a police car.
I did my first certification for unemployment. Thought I did it right, but not long after I got off the phone, I wondered if I waited until he said "goodbye" ... wasn't sure. No money in the bank today; not sure how long it takes. I'll check again tomorrow and if it's not there, I may have to call again and redo it. Damn ... I was hoping to get money this week.
Well, I've got to get going ... after the mechanic, I'm going to a movie this morning. Going to see "The Hurt Locker" at the cheap theater ... $1 popcorn day, too. Maybe lunch afterward. Something to do, it's a beautiful day today.

If I did my unemployment benefits on Sunday (though I did mine online), the money was in my account on Wednesday, so I'd say it's approximately a 3 day period. . . hope that helps you

I just wanted to wish you all a Happy St. Patrick's Day. :) I don't have anything to talk about really and have been away because I've been writing like crazy. I have an idea for a story and am going with it. Right now the words are flowing like a fast moving river and so I'm taking advantage of it while I can. :D

Anyway, I am sitting here at work, had a busy morning, though most of it was about jobs, yup, you heard me right. . . not happy with this job, even though I am grateful to have it, however, I got a call from a headhunter yesterday, then this morning had emails from the supervisor of the first lawfirm I worked for and a friend of mine who I met through my local support group, both with leads for employment, the one is making less money and I just can't make it on any less money than what I am making now, the other, well we shall see what it is about, it might be a weekend position in NYC. I don't know that I want to go back to NYC, however, if the money and benefits are right, I will consider it. I believe that things work out exactly as they should, that you must show up for life each day and what happens after that, is none of your business, but I must be responsible for my part, so that in mind, I am just seeing where life takes me, but it appears that something in the universe is at work, so time will tell the whole story, in the meantime, I continue to be grateful for the job I have that makes life possible as I am accustomed to living it.
Well that's my bit of news, counting down to Friday evening when I fly south to visit my daughters and Florida grands. . . the weather is beautiful here today and supposed to hold up pretty much through Sunday afternoon, hope it's nice where you are and that life is treating you well.
