Good moring my red headed Honey Bun!!

Gary couldn't sleep, so I couldn't sleep. What's up with that? He got up about 3:00 and I tossed and turned until 5:00 when I said enough! Time for a latte...lol

Not much happening here, which is always reason to give thanks. My nose is still stuffy from yesterday's assault by the ENT, but I'll get over it. If that's all I have to complain about then life is good. I have a long day at work, WhooHoo!  My marketing  e-mail resulted in one new client who, suprisingly, is from San Diego. What fun that will be today.

Well, there you have it. Exciting, huh?

Hope everyone has a great day. Sending hugs, good thoughts and all things positive to all!

Susan

Nothing new today.  Going to be a beautiful sunny day here in Michigan, again!  Cool this morning, 28*.  Should go up to around 57* today tho.  The sun is shining in right into my eyes.  Possible snow Sunday and Monday tho.  Will get my 'spring' fix in before then.  Going to go out and pick up twigs and branches in the yard today.  Got to enjoy the weather while it's nice here.  Lots of frost on the lawn and cars right now.
I've been looking on line for a hair style for thin hair.  I've lost so much hair since this surgery.  I hate it.  I'm going down state Friday and getting in to have my hair cut and highlighted on Saturday.  I'm thinking of a style more like Jamie Lee Curtis, or Haley Barry's pixie.  I think that a layered style will work best with this thinning hair.  What do you think Susan?  Maybe I'll spike it.
Hope all our friends out east are staying dry and aren't having too much trouble with the flooding.  Massachusetts looks pretty bad according to the Today Show.  Stay dry folks.

Hi Jani,

I think either style would be super cute!  I love short hair, fun and easy for sure. I'd say go for it!

Beautiful day here in Canada - almost all the snow has melted and it is above freezing (by a little) for the last 2 weeks. Probably snow before the end of the month but I can deal with that!
Having lunch at a Greek restaurant with my SIL and then having my DS and DIL and the 2 grands for dinner and then keeping the older (27 months) overnight - fund day tomorrow!!

Hi Janet and all my buddies!

Let me see.  Today I already did my morning ritual of feeding all the dogs, straightening up the kitchen and family room.  Need to vacuum but waiting for a little while to do that.

I do have to say I slept well last night got up around 6:30.  This is really good for me.

Had art class last night.  I chose a book with a cardinal in it, but I couldn't find the book last night.

I am going to do  a still life with two apples on a beautiful cloth napkin.

Today I meet friends for lunch.  Going to the golden coral.  I know I won't be able to eat much but my friends wanted to meet there.

Have to stop at the grocery store.  Our tradition on St Patricks day is cooking cottage ham, potatoes and cabbage.  I love that meal.

Nothing new here except I am still taking care of my sister and trying to do the best I can.

Well..... have a great day.  The sun is out today and I feel much better than when it is gloomy and rainy like the last few days.  The dampness goes right through me.

Peace
Mary

I am on my way.  What a ride it has been.

Hi Red and my OFF family:

Wow, it's sunny and supposed to be in the high 50s today. A few days of spring here. My two lazy cats are curled up in the sunshine in front of the electric fireplace ... such a peaceful sight. I had a nice day yesterday at the butterfly exhibit ... finally stalked the big blue butterfly (actually moth) and got a great photo. Really beautiful butterflies in a tropical setting, plus spring flowers blooming in another area. I walked for an hour and a half. My knee really hurt.

I'm going out to lunch with a former coworker today. She was a business reporter and took a buyout in the first round. She's been freelancing ever since. I hope she might have some leads for me on what to do. I want to pick her brain. She used a lot of her contacts for freelancing ... well, I don't have any contacts because I've been on the desk. All my contacts are in South Dakota and I don't remember them.

Cleaning lady is coming at 10:30 ... I will leave at 11 a.m. Place is a mess. Well, actually she just came in a half hour early.

Oh well, that's all for me. Have a good day.

Good mornin' ya'll.

Yesterday was busy.  Followed my grandson to the dealership s0 he could drop his car and get some work done.  Then took him to the base for his monthly fasting lab work (for his acne meds).  Then fed him at Checkers.  Then PO, bank, lawyer to get a paper notorized for Mom's estate (will that ever be over?).  Had an hour at home. His car wasn't done by 2:30, so had to take him to his Mom's work so she could take him to the doc to get lab results.

This morning I FINALLY took care of the stuff piled on my desk. Wrote a few letters I had been putting off.  Sent a few cheer up cards to aunts and an uncle who are having some health problems.  Filed a bunch of stuff that needed filing.  That took me about 3 hours!!

It's another overcast gloomy day out.  But that's OK with me.  No rain.  I get tired of the rain when it is dreary.

Tomorrow is my next to the last chemo.  HURRAY!!!  I can't get over how good I have felt through this entire thing.  A little tired, a little hair loss.  But I KNOW it could have been SOOOO much worse. And I KNOW I am cancer free and will be around for another 20 some years. The majority of my ancestors have lived to be in their 80's and 90's and I expect no less from myself!  I am blessed.

Have a fantabulous day!
