Rowing down the river---what are you eating today???
No real food plan for today. My stomach is in knots waiting for the appt Thursday with the retirement system. I seldom get like this anymore. Usually I can eat my way through any emotional situation.
I'll surround myself with healthy, WLS friendly foods, and pick and choose when I need to. That's the best I can do today. I'll do the same tomorrow.
I can't even think about Thursday at this point.
I have to go into work the next three days, and it's been really busy. That helps.
Please continue to swing chickens that the numbers add up. If they do, you'll all be seeing a lot more of me. (At least those of you who want to.)
Can anyone say "ROAD TRIP"!!!!!?

The High Desert. Now, THAT would be one heckuva road trip! I'd probably have to pick up a certain redhead on the way. Seriously, that trip would most likely have to be in the air rather than on the ground. EnTIREly too much driving for this girl. Even with the comapny of out favorite redhead.
Thanks for the good wishes. My mind is pretty much made up, unless they throw me a major curveball.
When I try to fall asleep at night, instead of counting sheep, I'm counting "years/months of service" "percentage per year", "amount of penalty for each year before age 62"...and so on. It's does NOT make for a restful night's sleep.
Headed to work. Ugh.
I'll keep you informed.

Hope everybodys day is going well. It will be great to be able to post again. I really need to do this.
Susan- what kind of pasta is that in your recipe? and what is a bran muffin in a mug?
Breakfast- SF Hot Chocolate
Lunch- Chili and 5 crackers
Snack Strawberry Greek yogurt
Dinner- sirloin strip 3 0z
scalloped potatoes 1/3 cup
peas- 1/3 cup
Snack- peanut butter cookie protein shake
Ditali is like salad macaroni. Or, you can use elbow, rotini, or no pasta at all.
I posted the recipe for the bran muffin in a mug a few days ago, here's the link

I made it today and didn't care for it, but I think with a dash of salt and some other adjustments it could be good.

Hi Susan,
I like that soup too....never thought of using turkey sausage ....I've used the Boca Crumbles and some hot rd pepper flakes and it was pretty good.
Todays menu is:
B- Oatmeal
S- 1/2 apple
Lupper - Roast Beef, roasted veg (red potatoes, carrots, zucc, onion), small dinner roll
S- coffee, 10 gr dk choc, 1/2 apple
D- Protein Shake w/ added fiber, maybe some cantaloupe
I'm going to try to do a cleanse of some sort over the next couple of days.......I'm not going to take any drugs or stimulants I'm just going to take in mostly liquids (natural fruit juice, protein shakes, yogurt).....I don't want to eat any solid food for at least 1 day probably 2....I feel too full lately if that makes any sense. I don't know if this will help but I'll give it a try.
Hope everyone is doing well.
