Yeah, I'm better off not knowing a lot ahead of time, too. He was a very nice guy and even felt badly about hurting me. I'd done worse, not that I want to do it again..lol

   Hang in there girlfriend. Keep us posted will ya? I have to go in (4/2) for my second ultra-sound on my thyroid. I have a lump too. If its bigger..a needle biopsy. If its smaller...well we'll wait and see. Sometimes I LOVE my doctors and sometimes...not so much. I'm getting tired of the wait and see attitude. My feeling is if its bad...GET IT OUT!!!!

Hi Marcy,

I really got a good feeling about this from the doc. He didn't seem concerned at all when I questioned him about it. Just a precaution he said. Still, it will nag at me until I find out. Especially with all of my friends with Thyroid cancer.

Sounds ouchy!!! It is better to have a cautious doctor than a 'let's wait and see' one.
