please let us know that you are ok--
tornado season already-geez....

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Margo, thanks for thinking of us!

It was a rocky evening, lots of storms came through, but we're okay. They really got caught with this one, no one thought there was a high level of probablity that any of the storms would become severe enough to produce a tornado, but heck, sometimes I wonder if weathermen just look out the windows like the rest of us...lol

The tornado hit about 8 miles from us and then headed north, right towards Jeff and Tess' house, then past them (they're okay, too) towards the salon. There were still people working, including one getting a massage....stripped down to her tidy whities....LOL. Well, it was coming closer and closer and Angela, the massage therapist says "Gee, Margaret, this sounds like it's getting close, what do you want to do?". Poor Margaret is from New York City and hadn't a clue about what was going on, and left the decision up to Angela. Pretty soon, Vickie, the salon owner, was knocking on the door for them to come out and head to the inner hallway with the rest of the crew. What a hoot. If you knew Margaret(she's one of my clients) you'd be laughing along with me.

The tornado headed north east and hit again about 60 miles from us, killing one person. All and all it could have been a lot worse, but any tornado is bad!

Love and hugs for thinking of me

I had no idea about the tornado.  That's what happens when a person doesn'****ch the TV much.   So glad you're OK.

I complain all the time about the weather in western NY, I know.  Can't decode if blizzards or tornadoes are worse.  I guess everywhere has it's horrible weather.

Again, glad you and yours are OK.

Dang Girl, You had us worried.  Here's hoping the rest of your spring is smooth sailing.
Tidy whities, I did giggle when I read that. Remember to cover that little curly head of your's whenever the weather is having a weird and restless time of it, Peg

Actually, we're considering putting a safe room into the garage. FEMA offers a substantial rebate for those in tornado prone areas. I'll bet we won't have any trouble qualifying...lol
