Sailing or rowing, whatever your mode of transportation, what are you eating?

Good morning one and all!  Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend so far. Mine has just started, and it's going to be a beautiful one. Gary's not feeling well, so I'm not sure what my day will bring, but I do have to eat, right? The kids might be coming over so dinner must be vegan. That will take some planning, but I have an idea.

Here's what I'm  planning.....so far, and subject to change.

protein coffee
latte

eggbeater/cheese omelet & mini bagel

l- not sure, have to go to the grocery store Ham on Sandwich Thin

d-- flat iron steak w/ baked sweetpotato

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Good morning Susan and all OH buddies:

Did not post yesterday because we had a "Family Fun Day" at school and it sort of killed my whole day.  Glad I attended though; the kids and the parents really enjoyed the festivities.

Got nothing done at home yesterday and now I supposed to be cleaning and doing laundry.  I say "supposed to"  because I just got a new smart phone and getting the hang of it has become as hard as a graduate-level course  .  Really.  Still can't figure out how to record the voicemail greeting.  Can't find it  in the instruction manual written in that funky English that Japanese manufacturers use.

Did not eat nearly enough yesterday, so here is today's plan:

B -  Turkey/Spinach casserole
S -  Chai Latte (Chai tea and milk powder)
L -   2 oz. poached cod, broccoli and carrots
S -  1 oz mixed nuts
D -  Black bean soup and string cheese (Papi can't tolerate rice)
S -   1 cup milk

Exercise:  Bowling and Boogie down the pounds video

Happy sailing y'all

Maria

Susan,

You always have creative menus. I wouldn't mind getting rid of the kitchen completely - except for the sink and coffee pot. Bad bad me.

B - cottage cheese, berries, Kashi
L - left over chicken and cauliflower
D - cube steaks for Tom, something else for me.

I baked 2 apple pies and they smell yummy. Nope, not for me.

Truth be known, Annette, I'm a food addict. I love to cook, read cookbooks and even grocery shop. The only thing that has changed since WLS is the way and how much of it I cook.
