Good Saturday morning all! It is so nice to be sitting here all by myself and able to do what I want to....it has seemed like a lifetime since I have have been able to do that. It feels so nice!

Bill went back to bed a bit ago since he isn't feeling to good this morning. I can tell that spring is coming. With the change of seasons comes his stomach problems with his gazillion ulcers. The last time he had his stomach tested he had 4 ulcers and when the seasons change his stomach starts hurting and the rest of the stuff that comes with it.

Shawn and Kayden was here for a week and thank the good Lord they went home a couple of days ago. I was so glad to see their bee hind**** the door. It is so peaceful here and we have been super busy at that too...so you can imagine what it was like here with them. It seems to Bill and I all Kayden does is cry when he is with anyone but us. Yes...that includes his dad too at times. I was so sick of watching him do for his son and then checking to make sure if people were watching him do it. You just do for your kids..that is the role of parents...or so I always thought. Needless to say sonny boy is getting to me yet again.

It is so nice here today. It has been sunny for the last few days and the temps just keep getting a bit higher each day. Today is suppose to hit about 45*. By early  next week they are talking about the low 50's and that is always acceptable to me after a long and cold winter.

We have almost everything done for the new apartment. Just a few more papers to get in and then just wait to be outta here with big smiles on our faces. After the manager (and I use that title loosely) told me that we are nonrenewable we got a letter this week asking us if we are renewing our lease. HMMM....I told Trudy and she told me that the main office in Indianapolis is after her because of all the empty apartments here. Well, she should know that what goes around comes around and when it does the bite in the butt does not have a good feeling.

We are starting to pack stuff now. It seems to me that I have even more things than I thought that we did and I always knew that I had a lot of junk! So you can imagine just how busy we are going to be until the end of next month when moving day comes. I am not sure how 2 people (but mostly one of the 2 if I am honest) can collect so much stuff. ha ha

I guess I should get going. I am sure that I am boring most everyone including myself. When you bore yourself that is pretty bad if you ask me. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers and good thoughts are here for everyone too. Have a great day and know that spring is springing and soon will be here in all of its beautiful glory!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Good morning all.  A wonderful day here in the DFW area.  Getting prepared for the next couple of days though.  RAIN.  Again.  And they said if the temperature goes above the predicted 62 on Monday, there will be some tornado warnings in our future.

Dreading going home today.  Mary has the "move the furniture" bug.  That means moving our dining room table back into the dining room.  Move the 14 piece wall unit into the dining room.  Move the kitchen table to the sunroom.  Move her scrapbook room back to where we originally had it.  We have a friend from the Texas Message Board who's brother was going to come over at 2PM to help.  Mary just called, he is on his way over now.  Which is good, because it means most of the moving will be done before I get home.  YES!!!

Lastly, I am asking you all to say a prayer for a good friend of mine.  He is a deacon at our church and also an employee of the Texas Rangers.  He is also an Amway distributor and knows our financial situation, so he normally sells us stuff for less than he pays, I am sure.  Anyway, he has leukemia.  About 3 weeks ago he had a bone marrow transplant.  The other day he had to go back to the hospital.  They originally thought his body might be rejecting the marrow, and listed his condition as grave.  Now, they believe the body is rejecting some of the drugs and are working at working around it.  They expect success, but they feel he will be in the hospital another 2 weeks or so.  Thanks.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Hi Everyone!

WOW!  The sun is out and it actually doesn't feel too cold.  I mean in the 40's is like a heat wave to us.   Makes me long for spring even more.  I do know, we will probably get socked with one or two more snow storms yet.  True, plain and simple.

I have done all kind of work today.  Cleaned out the fridge, that I put off until I can't stand it anymore.  People spill things and no one wipes it up.  You know what I mean.

Laundry, wiping down my white back door where the dogs get mud all over it.  They also make more work for me.

Probably go to church later on tonight.  If my husband feels like it.  He has been working since 3am this morning and he worked all day yesterday.  They called him in this morning.  Hate to work, but get the overtime while you can.  Never know when it will stop.

My son's band is playing out tonight, they usually do every weekend.  I was suppose to go with my daughter, but his band isn't going on until 11.  Ugh... I am usually in bed by then.  Don't think I will make it.

Other than all of that... I don't think anything else is planned.

I hope all of you have a wonderful day and George I will pray for your friend.  My mother in law sells amway too.  She has for 30 years.  She really doesn't make that much money on it.  She uses the products and gives us some.  I love the cleaning line.

Be well...

Peace
Mary

I am on my way.  What a ride it has been.

Bringing up the tail end here. . . Busy day. Started with an hour at the gym; made it 4 days this week. Can't tell it by the scale but I'll keep working on it. Oh, did I hear someone say that I'm also supposed to cut back on the jun****ep putting in my mouth???

The weather is beautiful here in  my little corner of the world. Heard meadowlarks outside this morning. That always makes me feel spring is just around the corner. All kinds of little green "ears" are popping up in my flower beds. I got a bunch of bulbs 70% off after Thanksgiving. Just stuck them in anywhere I could find a spot soft enough to plant them. It's fun looking to see what will come up. Bought a forsythia and a lilac. Made two window seat covers and a pot of clam chowder. Now I'm sitting back watching a favorite movie "Murphey's Romance."

Got a cortisone shot in my shoulder two days ago and it seems to have helped a lot so far! Weird but my right ankle that was killing me doesn't hurt much either. Could an impinged tendon in my shoulder and back affect other areas of the body? Or could it be the new tennis shoes I bought a few days ago? I don't care just glad to have both areas feeling better.

Julia, it was so nice to see your smiling face when I signed on. Haven't been posting much. Just busy with life. I do pop in and read tho. Have to know what's going on around here.

Two years ago today Maggie delivered her puppies and a week later our twins were born.  We'll head over to Hannah and Clara's on Friday to celelbrate their birthdays.

Nothing much else going on. Hope you all have a nice weekend.
