Exercise - Let's get moving......Thursday

Well there are a few folks who liked the idea of a daily exercise thread so I'll give it a try...if nothing else it will help keep me focused on moving.
I had a little trouble waking up early this morning...I just wanted to stay under the covers...

Today I will do be cardio this morning.....a walk through my neighborhood with my Buddy boy.  It should take just about 40 mins.  Once the weather warms up a little bit more and the winds die down a bit I'll get back on the bicycle.  I do enjoy bike riding.... 

I'll post an update after I've done my cardio to let you know how it went and to keep me accountable.

Ruth, It's not quite 6am here on the west coat. I'm up but not really with it yet. I plan to get dressed and head to the gym by 8am for an hour of treadmill/elliptical workouts. I do 2 different 30 minute weight loss programs and work up a good sweat and get my sluggish metabolism moving. I'll report back in too!

Hello Ruth....I plan on going out for a walk in just a little while. Not sure how far I will get ...I am still pretty weak from being sick these last two weeks...but...I am going to try!

It's spin class for me today. Wwwhhooo!! Keep it moving girlfriend.
The sun is shining here in Kalamazoo and Spring is just around the corner. Can't wait to take my bike out and ride it!!

I can't wait to get on my bike again too!!
I'm hoping the wound in my backside will be healed enough to let me ride in 2 weeks.  Bike riding and swimming are the only 2 exercises or activities I've always liked.

Yep, bike riding and water aerobics are my 2 favorite exercises....along with dancing. I love to dance!

I just tolerate weight lifting and some of the other classes I go to so I can "switch it up more".

Update on my own exercise today........

Buddy and I went out and did a good 45 min power walk
I almost did not go (Matthew kind of ticked me off but I decided to take that energy and go for the walk).  I'm glad I pushed forward and did it.  I feel better after doing my cardio. 

I can't wait for the weather to warm up and the winds to calm down so I can get back on the bicycle.  Only bad part about riding the bike is I can't take Buddy out with me and he really needs the exercise too...  I'll cross this bridge in a few weeks.

I will do about 20 mins weight lifting on arms tonight. 

Keep on moving...

How about intent?  I really want to get back into a daily routine but today wasn't the day.  However, I did make a point to get up and move twice as much as I usually do.  We spent a lot of time in the car, unfortunately.  Once we were back home, I didn't head right for the computer and sit down.  I stayed up on my feet, moving around.

Having the right intention is a good start! 
How's it been going the rest of the week?  So hard to find the time and the umf (spl?) to get moving; I know!
