Morning Crewmates!

Sorry to hit and run yesterday. For some silly reason my computer was very sleepy and refused to wake up in time for me to really do anything. Then, I worked later than I expected, so didn't even have dinner until almost 7:30.

Okay, today is going to be beautiful. Looks like a good day for a walk!

Here's my day so far. We'll see how it turns out in the end.

1 egg, 2 thin slices bacon, 1 slice high fiber toast

protein coffee

l--going out, probably a salad Yes, I had a roasted beet and gorgonzola cheese salad. OMG it was good!

d--French Dip soup, salad nixed the salad since I had a very large one for lunch

protein decaf

probably some applesauce and cottage cheese since I'm lite on cals. We'll see later how I feel

Hope you have a wonderful day, one and all!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

You're on your way now!  Actually, three meals a day sounds great to me. I get sick trying to eat enough to get my calories in. Wonder what would happen if I wen't back to that? Hmmmmm

Hi Susan and all crewbies onboard:

Did not have Wendy's chili for dinner yesterday because I made the  turkey/spinach casserole Karen posted.  It was deeeelicious.    Also, did not exercise because reading a romance novel looked like a lot more fun.  How's that for self-indulgent and lazy?

Here is today's plan:

B - Dr. Oz's belly busting smoothie
S - String cheese
L - Wendy's chili, 2% cheese, 1T wheat germ
S - SF choc. mousse
D - More of Karen's turkey spinach casserole
S - 1 cup milk

Exercise:  Sweatin to the Oldies III

Happy sailing y'all,

Maria

Good morning Susan!
Today I plan....

B- Oatmeal
S- Protein w/fiber
S- 1/2 Apple
L- Salmon, bulgur wheat (I put the bulgur in on romaine lettuce leafs and make "wraps"...so yummy!)
S- 1/2 apple, 1 pumpkin ball (it's a cookie type thing but VERY healthy)
S- Protein w/fiber
D- egg whites with chopped tom, pepper, onion, 1 slice whole wheat toast

I'm going to focus on my afternoon snacks......I find when I'm making Matthew's snack I "pick" on the peanut butter and even though it's very healthy and good protein/fat I don't need to do consume an extra 100 cals that are not on my plan.  If I eat the PB I need to cut out the pumpkin ball or something else.  Wish me luck for this afternoon.  :-)

Have a great day!

Ah yes, the "pick' peanut butter. I buy the crunchy, and sometimes when I feel the need for something, just a little somthing, I'll get a tsp of PB. The crunch satisifies, and it's usually just enough.

A tsp.....that's so small.....I get more like a Tbls.  I use actual measuring spoons with it and a tsp seems too tiny but I give it a try a couple hours when it's "tea time" at my house.  :-)
