Hello everyone,

I have been listening to Andrea Bocelli lately.  He can bring tears to my eyes.  Especially Con te Partiro.  If you haven’t listened to it.  Please do.

I find music , comforting.  No matter what mood you are in it can soothe you, bring back memories, let your troubles sink into oblivian for awhile.

What a gift one has who can sing.  They don’t realize what their words mean to someone who is in need, or just needs a lift to escape the every day woes.

One  can completely emerse  into something  so beautiful as Andrea Bocelli.  He brings tears to my eyes.  Happy one’s because he is so gifted to move me to them.

I am in need of those beautiful notes that carry me to another world, literally.

Peace

He is from Italy, he brings you there with him.  He is also blind.  God took away his sight but gave him something beautiful to the world.  I don’t know if it was an even trade.  But to me I am thankful for his voice.

I am in another place, away from all my stress and other problems when I listen to him.

Thank you for that Andrea……

Mary

I am on my way.  What a ride it has been.

My Mom loved Andrea Bocelli and so through her I was exposed to him, when she died in 2001, one of the things I often found myself listening to were his cds, which I have added to. . .  yes, his voice is exquisite and the songs are incredibly touching, I even have loaded his cds on my computer at work. . .  another person you might like is Sarah Brightman, she has an exquisite voice as well, a broadway actress and I believe she was in Phantom of the Opera. . .  Music is something very soothing to the soul and I love all forms of it, though the stuff that passes for it in the younger generation can be agitating to my mind, but then they felt that way about the music we listened to in my time. . .  lol

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

HI Laureen,

Sarah Brightman sings Con te partiro with him.  It is absolutely beautiful.

I do love her also.

Just listening to him and wondered if anyone else did....

Incredible, music can make us remember beautiful memories.

Both Andrea & Sarah are my favorites.....  I have several of their CD's....  he is very soothing to listen to.  I've been a fan of classical music since I was a preteen.

Sarah is the original singer in Phantom of the Opera... Andrew Lloyd Webers' version.  His music inspires me greatly.....   Just the instrumentals alone can soothe the savage beast..lol   doesn't soothe the missy pouch though....  lol

Mary,  enjoy  enjoy enjoy

I have most of Andrea Bocelli's CDs and also the one where he sings with Sarah Brightman..awesome music!  Id heard them sing once as I was driving and the music resonated deep within me...I searched until I found out who he was.. and truly love his voice.

I'd often sit alone, turn down the lghts and close my eyes, turjn up the volume and slip away to Italy and listen.  Josh Grobin also sounds similar to Andrea.  What a gift they have!
