Our boat has stalled. We need more crew! What are you eating?
Here's a find some of you might want to look for. It's Calorie Countdown milk. They've processed out the milk sugars and replaced them with Splenda, so it's LOW CARB!!!! 90 cals, 5 grms fat, 3 carbs, 8 gr protein for and 8 oz serving. Great if you're trying to lower your carb intake. I know the 5 grms of fat is higher than fat free milk, but I have a problem getting enough fat into my day, so it all works for me.
Here's my day as I see it. Subject to change, of course!
latte
b--south beach veggie cup, mini bagel
l--turkey on a sandwich thin
s--applesauce w/ cottage cheese
d--chicken quesidilla
Hope your day is a successful one!
Susan
Hi Susan and all the crewbies on the SS OH,
I fell off the boat and am now treading water, trying to keep my head above water.
Woke up yesterday to find that I have lost a grand total of 2.5 lbs since Feb. 10. I guess Feb. was my plateau month. Hope March shapes up a lot better.
Additionally, my endocrinologist informed me that an ultrasound shows my multinodular thryoid goiter has increased and I will need a biopsy. However, Tuesday March 9 is the earliest he can do it. Great, it will be two weeks before I either get the good news or the ax falls. He tells me this two months after telling me I did not have to take thyroid hormones any longer because my thyroid was supposedly working fine.
Did not eat very much yesterday, so I had lost 1/2 lb. when I weighed in this morning.
Here is today's plan:
B - Dr. Oz's belly blasting smoothie
L - Muscle milk light
S - cheese stick
D - Wendy's chili
S - SF chocolate milk
Hope it's smooth sailing for y'all.
Maria
Thanks for the reminders to think positive and to make sure I get enough calories. I will put the upcoming biopsy in the back burner and only send healing violet light to my thyroid. Also, will call my Nut today and get her input on the daily calorie intake.
BTW, the low-carb milk sounds great. I'll see if the stores carry it down here.
Ciao,
Maria
