Aloha Susan and everyone!

I am so happy to say that the tsunami fizzled. We are all extremely thankful, and were very worried when the time came that it was to hit Hilo. We all watched TV to see how big the hit was there because Maui was next, but Hilo was all quiet, and the time came and went. Our bay didn't move. We had been told to evacuate by a truck going down the street with a bullhorn. Thankfully we didn't. We just decided we'd go to the 4th floor or the roof if it came in really big. Now, we're all relieved and laughing as people return home. Someone on the 4th floor is having a "we survived the tsunami party.!"

I so deeply appreciate your caring about me. I am sorry I haven't been on here much......and I will try and change that.

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

There She is , Ms. Maui!!!!!!,
Party on dear one.
I do understand MIA.  Even though that is the case , we never forget.
The East Coast has had some bad arse weather, Texas has been hit with winter this year, the south hasn't washed away , yet. And all us young-uns out west, well, it rained buckets this morning, it is snowing to beat the band this evening. And might I say , we have been enjoying every ounce of moisture, we sure needed it. Our trees look so happy. Haven't had to wash the autos all winter. The honey man and I talked about the ground water in our area today. Even with all the rain and snow , we are still going to conserve , just seems like the thing to do.
Well , dear girl, I've rattled on enough .
Just needed to let you know we are so happy you are safe.
Hugs, Peg
