Sunday morning revue

I've never gotten this started before, hope its ok.
It's been a long time since I posted much,  I got a couple of little charges placed that had security problems.  When the monster (the molester)   found our home  we had to leave to protect the kids.    I spent a month wandering the state.   Staying in different places.   Hotel life can be fun.  If you don't have 5 little charges under 6!   Thank the good Man  above for My angel Mary,  understanding hotel staff and  indoor kiddie pools>     I let the kids play in the pool till they turned in to little prunes  and they'd sleep for hrs!!!!!!!!   Bad guy now in jail,  we are home and did survive nicely!     I have kept up   with everyone on here,  was able to do some reading  but not  a lot of posting,   I have plans for a roast chicken dinner and attending a model train show.today

Geez, Jo.. you have been a lot.  What happend to the molester?  How did he find your home?  I am not clear on the details.   If you don't want to say, that is ok too. 

It sounds like the kids had a great time.  That's all that matters right?

I have been catching up on work here.   So many things to do and still staying an helping my sister most days.  Meanwhile, my house is needs a bomb to hit it..lol  I also I think I am going to throw away all the old clothes and start over..lol

How is everyone else doing?

I am up early again.  4:45. I even take a sleeping pill and still get up early.  Don't get it.  Seems like since I have had surgery, I get up earlier than I want.

Lot's of things going on in the family about my nephew.  Seems like the hearbreak and stress won't go away.

I hope everyone has  a great day.  It has been snowing here.  My husbnd cleans the driveway and has no where to pu**** anymore..

I am sick of winter.... I am cold, depressed , Hate snow....  I guess you csn see where I am going with this topic.

Good morning to everyone on OFF!

Up earlier than usual on a Sunday because my son needed a ride to work.  His car broke down.  Darn old cars.  :P

Another viru**** this poor rickety old computer yesterday.  I would like to strangle all these malicious people out there that write these viruses and trojans.  It took all day and into the evening to get rid of it.

My grandson was over for a few hours yesterday and his mom showed up too.  I found out she's expecting a girl in July.  Get this--she is relieved because she thinks a girl wouldn't be born with autism. 

Not sure what today is going to bring.  As Forrest's mama says, life is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get...

Unless it's Whitman's chocolates, and then you get a map!

Golly, Jo, of course it's okay that you started the thread!  It's nice to see you here again, but happier yet that this difficult time is over for you. How lucky those children are to have you in their lives. Your wings are waiting for you, for sure!

Everything here is going fine. Just one bump in my road that I need to vent about.

Most of you know that my DIL and I have a small bath and body business that we've been trying hard to get off the ground. I've been the "bank", she's the one with the industry knowledge. So, everything was going along well, just a few little problems here and there which are to be expected. Well, since the last orders we produced and put together for the stores for their Christmas stock, we haven't done a thing. Here it is, almost March, and we haven't worked on it since about the first week of Dec. I was getting ready to just dump the whole thing, use it as a tax write off and enjoy my Sundays again. She and I had a bit pow-wow the other evening to decide the future of the business. She agreed that Saint Bella hasn't been a priority for her and that we needed to make changes to streamline things, to which I agreed. She was to put together an order for her store, come here today to fill it, and then we were going to decided what to do with the remaining stock before we scale back the product line.

She didn't talk to the owner or put together the order. So. One more week with no production, one more week that this isn't a priority for her. I'm very disappointed, and more than a little miffed.

Half of my office and all of my sun room is filled with Saint Bella.  I'm into this by about 7K, and she was too busy to talk to her boss about an order.
Now, the positive side is that all of this has brought us very close, so much that I look at her as my best friend, not a DIL. Both of us agree that we would chuck all of it into a dumpster before we let it come between us. She has also said that she can contribute some of her inheritance money towards the revamp of the line.

Okay, this is getting too long and probably boring, so that's all there is. Any suggestions are welcome. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. At least it's beautiful here today. No money to do anything, but maybe a nice long walk in the sunshine will do me some good!

Hi Mary, yes, it's been on etsy.com for about a year. We've had 3 sales, 2 of which came from dear friends here!

We're closing it down. The site is just too busy and there's too much for people to choose from .
