Wanda,
You're definitely on the road now. Make sure you're gentle with your body. The outside may not look like you had major surgery, but the inside definitely did. You have to remember that and go slowly. Those Grands will lift your spirits for sure. Be careful with them, and yes, let your daughter pick up the dining room. She'll be glad to be able to help, and maybe the 'doctor/princess' can help too. It would make her feel useful as well.
Sounds like you're doing great. Can't wait to hear of your advances!

My little doctor/princess is a delight and she will love to help g'ma. She loves to entertain. Dresses up, sings and dances constantly. I'm always surprised that she doesn't say she's an actress, but sometimes she claims to be a rock star. She's always telling me she's a doctor. Funny story...she was "listening " to my heart with a toy but placed it on my stomach. I pointed to my left chest area and told her that my heart is up here. She said " WELL, I'm just a NEW doctor."
My 12 year old granddaughter is a "mother hen" so she will kick in and help too. If she sees something that needs to be done, she just does it. I find that to be amazing for a 12 year old. They are all great. My only grandson is ornery, but so sweet when he needs to be. He's 5. Abbie the 10 year old is my hugger. She's just so loving. Jett the 15 month old lives up to her name. She's a little go getter will killer blue eyes.
Ok I've bragged enough. LOL Can't wait to see them in just a couple of hours from now.
