Good Friday morning to all those rowing along with me. It's a fine crew we have here; hearty souls one and all!  I know I'm getting a lot of benefit of our little daily thread here, and I hope you are too. I gave up "white" for Lent, and so far, it seems to be helping. Last night I made pork chops with sauerkraut and it did seem odd to have brown rice pilaf on the side instead of potatoes though...lol.

Here goes!

latte
protein coffee

b--quiche cup, 1 slice ww toast

l-- vegetarian red curry w/ brown rice

d--crustless calzone,

protein coffee and snacks to be edited in later.

B: apple cinnamin rice cake with peanut butter
S: Atkins shake mixed with coffee
S: grapefruit
L: chili
S: apple

half of banana before workout half after. Going to work out in the pool today.
D: pork and veggies
S: pickles

oooooh  are you talking about those Quakes mini rice cakes?  They are so OMG good and great with PB!

Enjoy your day. It's my Thursday, since I'm a Saturday worker, so yes, I'm jealous

Yes the Quakes mini cakes...they are yummy and low cal. Kudo's to us for eating them.

Peaceful it will be...only one client!  NO good. I don't do bored well, tend to graze just for something to do. I think we all do better when we keep busy. Besides, one client won't pay the bills, then I start to worry, and gee.....eating something sure will make that better, right?  WRONG!  Too many reasons/opportunities to munch, so I'll really have to watch it.

Yep, isn't that all of our life stories...reaching for food to fill the emptiness. It never will happen though...we reach and reach and the hole is never filled.
Well maybe we can reach for the rice cakes when we need something!! Hugs-Debbiejean

Hi Susan:

Rowing upstream it seems.  Very busy at work preparing students for the state mandated standarized test. 

Here is today's plan:

B - 1 cottage cheese pancake, 1 tsp PB, 1/2 banana
S - none
L - Fish fillet, broccoli
S - 1 oz almonds
D - 1 cup Wendy's Chili, SF chocolate mousse
S -  Muscle milk light

Exercise:  who knows

I NEED TO CHANGE MY ROUTINE.....


Everyday I start out with the best of intentions and do quite well until mid afternoon.  I start piecing (not sewing term).  A piece of this, a piece of that then a handful of this or that.  Once dinner is over I tend to head to the pasture and graze.  Not good.

I can't seem to get away from the pattern, routine, lifestyle .... whatever it is called.  I'm looking for something to motivate me ... permanently.  Not just a quick short-term goal, those are too easy for me to let go of....

beef sliced thin  toast coffee
protein bar
beef  cheese crackers
popcorn cheese
shrimp veggies
cheese cracker

Well, Im actually online early!  That's because we are having such a bad storm here that I cannot get to the city and do my water aerobics and I am not impressed.  Swimming /exercies have become a real pleasure for me and I cannot eb there...grrr!

Also I'd planned to go and visit Mother but that's a 45 minutes drive and the roads are apparently closing out there.

So this is my menu for today:

B   hot chocolate protein drink

S   a small clementine and a piece of cheese

L   home-made beef, vegetable and barley soup

S   hot chocolate protein drink

D   grilled sole and brocolli

S    hot chocolate protein drink

3 litres of water and all my vitamins
