Thursday revue, what's new?

Good morning OFF!

This is my first time starting this thread and I'm kinda nervous.  I was up at 4 a.m. and wondered if I should, went and made coffee, fed the cats, checked OFF and saw no one had posted yet ... dithered about it for an hour and then finally said, oh, go for it!  LOL...

Before I go wake the youngest for school, I figured I'd have another cup of coffee and just share a little of my unexciting life.

Right now it's still raining but we're under a storm warning for a snowicane this time.  I really like snow so I guess I don't mind terribly but it sure is becoming an inconvenience.  We're supposed to pick up our Angel Foods order on Saturday and I hope the storm is fully away by then.  Does anyone here order Angel Food?  What do you think of it?

We'd been having some nasty issues with our bank/mortgage lender but they seem to be resolving themselves a little.  I thought for sure we were going to have to put our house up for sale but it looks like we can hang in awhile longer now.

I talked to my DVR counselor yesterday and I'm going back to finish my associate's degree.  I was majoring in early childhood education and I just need a few more credits to complete it.  I'd like to get back to work as a teacher's aide.  I seriously doubt I'd be able to do a teacher's load with my fibro and cotton candy brain but I can surely still work with kids.  Most of my work experience has been in a school environment so I think I'd be able to get a job now if it wasn't for the big gap in my employment (I haven't worked since 2002).

Today my DH and I need to go to that horrible bank and get a couple of other issues straightened out and then I plan to jus****ch the snow storm through the window, read, play Farm Town and well, just do a lot of nuttin.

Good morning Cassie and everyone else.

Not much new and exciting here, I'm afraid. The temperature is up a bit and the sun came out today, making me think of spring and summer, which I hope will hurry and get here!
We still have a lot of unresolved issues with my mother's estate (such as it was) and back bills owed, so there is a lot of running around, not by me, of course, but there is a lot of buzzing around me, phones ringing, info wanted, etc. Makes me feel like the anchor person in a chaos.

I hope your own bank problems are resolved soon.

I am getting ready to go to work. It is a sunny cold morning down here in the Tampa Bay. Do I sound like a radio station commercial!!!!!
Carl is still waiting to hear if he go the contract job. Should know by March 23rd or not if he got it.
I am going to go and buy a small convection oven tomorrow. I hate my regular oven I have on my range. It will be just a counter top one. I wish I could just go and buy a regular stove but we are in a rental and I dont want to goand start buying appliances!!!!!
I couldnt sleep again last night. Dont know why!!!!!
We I need to go to work.

Not much time to chat.....just checking in.

I have to go get my taxes done then to a bank to open a new account. My current bank is going to start charging for all kinds of things...I refuse to stay there!!

Then a quick trip to the grocery store...I have been out of cottage cheese for days!!

That is about it...oh when I get home I need to work for about 3 hours and then my weekend starts.

Still feeling lousy...nasty cold ....sure is hanging on!

Good morning Cassie and others to follow.  Cassie, so far, so good.  You didn't mess it up.  LOL.

I am enjoying myself today as I type this.  A friend turned me on to a website called Jango.com.  You set up your own radio station to play only your music.  So, I listen all night long since the company does not have it blocked.

Got word that we will be getting a $100 bonus in our check tomorrow, due to our increase in customer base over the last year. 

Had some cell phone issues yesterday.  My phone would not hold a charge.  Tried to find a new battery for it, no luck.  Had to order it through the warranty service phone number.  But tonight it is holding a charge.  Wish I could explain.

Mary and I are upgrading our phones in August.  Don't know what we are going to do.  She was wanting an I-Phone.  My daughter talked to her yesterday and convinced her what we need is an I-Touch and then get a phone we like.  Anyone have an I-Touch?  What can you tell me about it?  I am not electronic savy.  What can you do on it?

You can probably get your phone battery at an Interstate Batteries store.  That's where I get mine.
