HI Susan and crew mates! I'm rowing...probably in circles. It's all I can do to not reach for my comfort foods...3 deaths in less then 2 weeks is overwhelming...but I promise you today is another day and tomorrow...well it will come!

B-1: Atkins shake mixed with coffee
B-2: scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links and hash browns...some cheese added to the eggs too
S: apple
L: turkey cutlet or chili, haven't decided yet...food located in the hospital cafe
S: grapefruit

half of banana before work out at the gym, the other half after wards
D: Probably left over pork roast and veggies
S: don't know yet, maybe apple Cinnamon toast with peanut butter

here I am, at least Im posting today. Yesterday I got so sick I had to go to bed,,dont know what that was.Very weak and faint feeling. Still not feeling the greatest but refusing to give in to it.
So, today Im eating protein protein protein. I just cant do the all liquid thing right now.

B- cold roast pork slices w horseradish sauce
S- celery and PB
L- cottage cheese w cinnamon and splenda
S- protein shake
D- more roast pork

I hear ya Susan,,I got on the scale and was up 1.5 pounds too,,whats the deal here?? Oh well,,onward and downward,,hopefully.

Betsy hope you are NOT getting that 24 hr. flu going around.

I just donated blood so I just finished my banana and will not be working out in the gym today after work. I will go home and let my hubby pamper me. I'm saving lives donating my blood!!

My iron was 45 (excellent) BP 106/62 I'm drinking my liquids and even ate 2 cookies...guilt free cuz I gave blood! LOL

Hope your feeling better now Betsy...I love that name Betsy.

B - Nature Valley Honey & Oats bars - I ran out of protein bars in my desk so I was at the mercy of the snack machine (180 cal. but only 4g protein).  NSA Applesauce.
S - None
L - Panera Bread Broccoli Cheddar Soup.  Some crispy chips.
S - None - we'll see how I get through that.  I'll jus****erload I guess.  No yogurt or pudding in the fridge at work either.  I need to shop but they are forecasting snow tomorrow so I'm not going near a grocery store.
D - Out with an RNY friend at Cracker Barrel.

OHHHH, I know how you feel about grocery stores before storms. I just try my best to keep the house stocked all the time.

Hi Susan and everyone:

Cheese curds or c-u-r-l-s?

136.4!!!  WTH??  indeed.  I'd be dancing naked in the streets if I weighed 136.4, but I guess it's all relative.  If you're exercising, you may be building muscles which are a lot heavier than fat.  Measuring the fearsome foursome (chest, waist, hips and thighs) might show progress even if the weight won't come down.   Just a thought.

Just got back to schools from a workshop.  Have not had lunch yet, but will be attending a Black History Month Luncheon at 2:30.m., so I'll wait till then.

B - cottage cheese pancake, 1 tsp PB, SF syrup.
S - 1 oz. snack pack of Cheese-its (I'm so ashamed)

L - Chicken, collard greens
S - 1 oz almonds
D - veggie- cheese omelet

Exercise -- Sweating to the Oldies III

Well, Maria, 136.4 is actually 20 lbs higher than my lowest weight. I'd gotten down to 116 after being sick and needing surgery. Then, I got back up to 125 where I stayed for almost 2 years without the scale moving as much as  a half a pound. I've gained 11lbs in the last 6 months. None of it is from exercising or weight training, since I really don't do either. Not nearly enough  to gain weight from it, for sure.

Hi Susan....just a thought put are you eating enough?  You know if you don't consume enough calories your body thinks you are starving and goes into protective mode so it holds onto every cal. ...just a thought. 

My food today:

Brkfst= 1 egg, veg, 2 whole wheat toast
Lunch = 1 can tuna stuffed into a tomato and wrapped in lettuce
Snack= 1 apple, 2 pumpkin balls (a refrigerator type cookie....very healthy!!!)
Snack = Protein powder shake w/fiber
Dinner= Not sure yet...not feeling hungry....maybe cottage cheese and berries or a little chicken and veg.
