Rowing or cruising, what's on your yacht's menu today???
Good morning Crewbies!!
Okay, so my yacht is more of a rowboat, but a girl can dream, right? Gary comes home today, so my schedule will be more regimented than it's been in the last 5 days. Schedule and routine is good for me.
I made the South Beach Diet Vegetable Quiche Cups again last night, tweaking the recipe and they came out great! I'll post the recipe on a separate thread since not everyone reads our little thread. They don't know what they're missing, do they???
So, here's my day:
latte
protein coffee
Quiche cup, mini bagel
s- benefit bar
l-- chicken thigh, beets
s--cottage cheese/ applesauce
d-- beef enchilada leftover from dinner last night
s- latte

I'm rowing Susan and staying afloat!!
I did eat supper, I had a great workout at the gym after work and hubby had made dinner for me. How could I say nope, gonna drink an Atkins shake!! So I ate almost a whole pork chop and 2 T. mashed potatoes and carrots. It was so good. But...I do feel so much more energized detoxing my body of bad carbs and sugar. It's hard but I can do this...I am woman hear me roar!! LOL

I will eat an apple after my workout at the gym. If hubby cooks again I'll keep it in control and eat on a coffee cup plate and later on during the evening when I want to munch I will drink a Muscle Milk Light.

It is helping me to write what I eat and include the surrounding emotions. On Thursday I will review the journal with my therapist.
Tom bought 4% cottage cheese and it tastes way too rich. Yuck. I hate to toss 3 big containers but he won't eat it and I don't like it.

I'm here. On the weekend I had a candy bar so I'm back to square one today.

I'm tired, no exercise today. Besides, I don't feel like schlepping through the snow to get to the building next to us to go to the gym. It's snowing gangbusters right now.
