Hi Everyone!

I did read the other posts and thought - "what the heck"  I am up at 3 so might as well do something while drinking my coffee.

Had a busy day yesterday went to my in- laws and had dinner.  She made dinner - lasagna.  One of my favorite things to eat.  ( of course I am half Italian)  I  miss all my noodles and pizza.

I ate about two tablespoons and tried not to eat all of the noodle.  I did pretty good.  They had a salad so i tried to fill up on that.

We didn't share valentine gifts this year.  Just didn't have the money.

I thought it ws cute that my kids wished me a happy valentines.   My son called me on the phone to make sure he told me.  Sometimes they can be so thoughtful.. Other times......... Well let's just say they can be the thorns in the roses I didn't get..lol

Have to go see my shrink today.  I am not thrilled it is over an hour away.  I really am begining to hate going.

Well that is my day.  I see a nap in my future.

Peace
Mary

I am on my way.  What a ride it has been.

Thanks for getting us going

We didn't spend much for Valentine's Day.  Correction, I didn't spend much, she didn't spend anything.  LOL.  It's a woman's holiday anyway.

I bought her a dozen sugar free chocolate dipped strawberries.  Then I took her out to eat at our favorite restaurant.  Italian.  She had eggplant, I had a combo plate.  I also wrote her a poem and gave her some white chocolate that if she doesn't eat soon, I will.

Anxious for Monday night, as I will get the results of the first five rounds of my fantasy baseball draft.  I know that doesn't mean much to 95% of you, but this is my time of year.  You will really find me starting to babble about baseball for seven months now.  Tuesday I will be ordering my 30 tickets for Opening Day.

I did get a lot of sleep today.  But I really needed it.  I layed down at 2, figuring I would be up by 4 to catch up on my DVR'd TV shows.  Woke up at 6 and was only able to watch 2 shows before I had to leave for work.  Will watch one in the morning, maybe half of one before I go to work.

later.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Good mornin', ya'll.

My DH and I took our DIL and 1 grandson to Outback for lunch yesterday.  I finally have some restriction, so I brought most of my meat home.  But it is yumm-o this morning.  The older grandson went out to dinner with his girlfriend's family.  Our DS is deployed, so we all missed him.

Today my DIL and I are going to the mall to find me a new comforter and bed skirt.  I've had these for 5 years and I need a change. Of course, my GH can't understand this.  If it isn't ragged or holey, why replace it.  Gotta love 'em!

Everyone have a fantabulous day.

Good morning Mary and OFF friends,

We went to see Avatar 3-D for Valentine's Day yesterday and it was really something else.  I felt like I could reach out and touch everything.  We don't go to the movie theater often -- last movie DH saw in the theater was the Titanic - lol - so it was a real treat.

I ate several bites of buttered popcorn and it went down okay, no problems.  I finally handed the bag over to him because I felt like I could have kept on eating it - lol

Finally, the scale is starting to move again - woo hoo!  I really really want to get to my personal goal, and even a little lower if I am able to, but I'm so thankful and blessed to be where I am right now.  My RNY was the BEST decision I could have made for my health.

Have a great day everyone!

Debbie

Hi Mary and everyone who follows,
It's bright and sunny this morning but we are supposed to have a snowstorm tonight into tomorrow.  Yeesh.  This time we're just supposed to get an inch or two so I scoff at it but still--enough already.  Where was this weather around Christmas time, which is when I wanted snow?

I'm sending my deepest heartfelt condolences and (((hugs)))to Jacki.

Mary, I hate going to any doctor that's an hour's drive away.  Unfortunately, here in the Pinelands, that means most of my doctors.  :P

Great job on the food eating!  Like you, we didn't make a big deal out of Valentine's Day.  No money and too commerical.

Plans today:  I need more protein powder so I guess I will have to brave the crowds at the mall to get to GNC.  They have a special on the Muscle Milk brand I like AND I have a special coupon for it too that expires today.

Off I go!

Good morning Mary and my OFF friends,

Gosh, my heart is so heavy after reading Jacki's post about her Bob. I tease about being a bachlorette for 5 days with Gary in San Diego, but  I've either e-mailed him or talked to him at least once a day since he's been away. Can't imagine not ever hearing his voice again.

I finally got the tax papers finished yesterday. Now just copies to make and it all packed up to send FedEx to  the accountant. What a load off my mind.  I set up my table in front of the tv with my adding machine (yes, the kind with a tape!), electric stapler and trash can. Such efficiency!

The kids and I went to see Avitar in 3-D at noon. Jeff and Tess had not seen it, and I saw it in 2-d with Gary, and boy, what a difference! They both enjoyed it, and it was like seeing it for the first time for me with the super duper glasses on. Yes, I had my popcorn, yes, it had butter on it, but not extra butter like I really wanted. Ate about 1/2 the small bag.
I was going to suggest getting a bite to eat together after the movie, but as we came out of the theater and looked out the glass doors, we saw that it was snowing like crazy!  So beautiful, especially since it didn't stick!

Okay, it's time for breakfast and my regular Monday chores. Hope everyone has a grand day!

Susan

Up at 5:00 this morning, and got going to take Michael to dialysis.  This is the last day for the extra early drive, as starting Wednesday, there was an opening at a center in our area and it's at 7:30!  Yahoo!  Closer by and later.  I can drop him off and head right to work.  I'm so pleased.

We had a lovely Valentines day, though we didn't do too much.  We got things done around the house, and then relaxed a bit.  He made us crab legs for dinner - Mmmmm I could eat a couple of them and they were delicious.  I used a little melted butter, but not much.  Michael ate the rest of the crab legs and enjoyed them.

He starts his 2 week liquid diet Wednesday for his March 3 RNY - It's almost a reality now.  I wondered if he would ever join me!

Today I'm off work for President's Day and I am having lunch with a friend.  We have fresh snow (yippee! - not).

Have good days.  My heart is heavy for Jacki losing her husband today.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

Hi Mary and my OFF family:

A few snowflakes this morning but nothing much. But it's gray ... typical West Michigan winter day. I have an appointment this morning with my psychologist too ... she's in Grand Rapids on the Northeast side, near where I used to live. It's not a bad drive. After the appointment, I want to get to the chiropractor. I had some bad headaches yesterday and my back is really bothering me. He's been on vacation for the past week. It's a drop-in practice. If he's too busy, I'll go tomorrow before I take the cats to the vet. I also want to hit a couple stores ... I'm out of salad, and I really want a salad.

Nan Horten came by yesterday and I fed her some chili ... she loved it. We had a pleasant visit but too short. She is babysitting her grandchildren in a nearby town.

Other than that, not much going on ... jus****ching the Olympics. Take care. I need to get in the shower and get going. Have a good day.

Good morning everyone.  I finally have a day off.  I slept until 8am.  I feel positively sinful, lol.  I was really tired though.  I sat down around 7 last night to watch a tv show and fell asleep.  My DH woke me up when he went to pick up Eddie and two of his friends so they wouldn't come back and see me sleeping sitting up on the couch with my mouth open.  The Valentines's Day party at work went well.  We collected $150. for the activity fund from the vote boxes for the king and queen.  I plan to do some catch up stuff around the house today and hop on the Wii.  Ya'll have a good day.
