Chewable Calcium ideas needed
Hi Wanda,
I get our calcium from Bariatric Advantage. My husband likes the lemon chews while I prefer the chocolate lozenges. For the B Complex, well, we just take our Biotin and B-12 separately and we buy it at different places. The B-12's gotta be in sublingual form. The rest of the B's we just get in our daily vitamin chewable, which we also get from Bariatric Advantage.

I prefer the Bariatri Advantage. ..Chewy Bites...Chocolate is my favorite.....yes they are expensive....I take 6 a day....1500 total.
I sometimes use Calcium Citrate Chewable Wafers. There is only one place in town that carries them. You could go to their site...Twinlab.... and check them out.....they are kind of a citrus flavor....I need 6 of them a day to get the amount I need....still kind of spendy.
I get my Vitamin B and others at Walmart....Spring Valley brand.
Good luck!!!!

Bariatric Advantage has the chews and the losenges. The chews are delicious but expensive. The losenges are ok.
The Bariatric Advantage chewable Complete Multi Formula has B-1, B-2, B-6 and B-12. However, my Nut has me supplement the B-12 with sublingual liquid. She says some bariatric patients may not absorb chewable B-12 well.
Hope this helps.

I use Bariatric Advantage chewable lozenges -- I like the chocolate flavor. They are pricey, and once I finish the current jarful I will look elsewhere for a less expensive alternative.
As to B complex -- my surgeon says VSG patients don't require this, since we do not have malabsorptive issues -- I find a 'feel-good' boost from the sublingual B complex that I buy at Trader Joe's.
Do your protein, lots of liquids, exercise regularly (sadly, this is not easy for me!), and develop good sleep habits. You will love your sleeve!
