Good morning Crewbies!

It's funny how my eating life has changes in 3 1/2 years. Gary's gone for 5 days, so I went to the store to stock up on "my" food. Before WLS it would be a few pints of Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream, and all sorts of crap. Last night I brought home cauliflower, brussel sprouts and pickled beets to go with my grilled chicken thighs.

Here's my day so far.

latte

protein coffee

Eggo LF WW waffle w/ pb and 2 thin slices bacon

s-?

l--crustless calzone

s--?

d-- grilled chicken thigh, sauteed cabbage w/ noodles, 2 pickled beets Decided to heck with it since Gary's outta town. Went to Lubey's Cafeteria and had liver and onions. Sure didn't taste the way I remembered it tasting 4 years ago. Should have come home for my grilled chicken. That'll learn me!

s-???  applesauce w/ special K LF granola

Tell me, how has your grocery list changed since your journey began?

Hi Susan,

It is a little hard for me to shop because I have three other people to cook for.  I can't eat a lot of their favorites.  So, I end up buying what I need to eat.  They are not fond of vegeies too much., the eat some but not what I like.  So, I have to cook two dinners.  YUCK

Coffee
B_  Protein drink
S- I doubt it will be gone through the afteroon
Lunch -  Not sure
Dinner-  Taco meat and a salad.  Didn't eat that yesterday
Snack... Almonds

Peace
Mary

I am on my way.  What a ride it has been.

Poor Gary had no choice but to get onto the boat with me. He doesn't have any problem with anything that I cook, except for the above mentioned vegetables. If I wanted to eat them when he was home it would be okay, I just make the effort to do it.

Big changes. No longer buy much bread or pasta, except what Tom eats. The only snacks are SF pudding/jello. Lots of cottage cheese, fruits and veggies. Kashi = Mine - all mine.

B - the usual cottage cheese, berries & Kashi
L - out with my friend, 1/2 tuna wrap & fresh pineapple
D - left over chicken & green beans
S - pink lady apple & pb

I FINALLY found a cottage cheese here that's like my favorite brand back home. It even comes in 4 oz containers! Just right.

Aren't the pink lady apples the best?

I like Kashi, and Gary wouldn't dream touch it. Thinks it's sticks and twigs.....lol

My pic was missing?? How odd!  I haven't changed my avitar for ages, and am not subscribing to the worries about the identity thing. Nothing to hide  or worry about. Good ol' OH, who knows!!!

Golly, sounds like you're waaaaaaaaay busy. All you can do is the best you can do. Take care of yourself, Honey!

Love and hugs

Susan
