Yeah, my furbrats saw me up and sitting in my chair and decided it must be time for breakfast ... so I had both of them meowing at me (now, Scooter seldom talks at all, but lately, he's been quite chatty). When I finally did fall asleep, he was on my chest as I snoozed in the recliner. Every now and then, he'd chirp at me, then Nettie would meow and try to jump on to join us (she needs a trampoline ... an old, big pillow to jump on to get on the chair). Needless to say, I didn't get much rest.

Eileen,
They have a habit of reminding us who rules the home.  Should we start wearing a maid uniform to keep them happy?Maid

I'm with Connie!   Shoveled 3 x yesterday, and it was still a mess this morning.  Yuck.   Snow has lost it's luster.  Time for Spring.

Not too much going on here.  I'll have to take more time off on Thursday to take Michael for an MRI for his graft (dialysis port).  I'm so lucky work has been flexible.

Hi Nancy and all!
We're getting a major storm here in NW Ohio and totals are expected to be 8-12 inches between today and tomorrow.  Guess I need to get used to it if I do get to move north!
Nothing new there YET but I hope soon!  I'll keep you all posted.  Have a great day!

Good morning!  I'm blessed - no snow where I live, but it's cold.

I'm taking some time off work due to a medical condition, so I am still finding my routine.  Trying to learn how to get up and get started on my day when there are no work times or deadlines.  It's a challenge, since I have worked since I was 13.  I've worked full time since college.  It's a curious dilemma, but it is mine today.

Stay warm everyone.

Oh, I know where you're coming from on getting into a routine even though you're not working ... I'm trying to find that now that I'm laid off. Didn't work today, though, because I couldn't sleep last night and now I feel all wrung out. I've worked full time since college, too, 31 years in the newspaper biz and a couple years in there in other things. Hard to make sure you don't just veg all day in front of the TV (although that's mostly what today was because I wasn't feeling well).
