Hi Everyone!

Boy the game was great last night!  You are right Eileen about the commercials.  They also were crappy ones this year.

George glad it is just the battery.

Well, on Saturday Night I put a plate of spaghetti in the microwave to heat it for my hubby.  Guess what?  The micorave would not open.  The button must have worn out.  Now this is funny.  My husband pried it open with a screw driver to get his spaghetti..lol

Now I am going to have to buy a new one.  I have a home depot card. Have to use that.

Did my taxes yesterday morning and it got rejected twice.  I couldn't figure out what the problem was and after two hours this morning I finally figured it out.  Next year I think I will take them to a tax man.  lol

Going to clean up today.  I have to wash my kitchen cabinets almost every week maybe more.  They are white.  Biggest mistake I ever made.  I really regret getting them.  Can't change them so I have to live with it.

Nothing else new here so I will leave it at that.

Peace out....
Mary

I am on my way.  What a ride it has been.

Good morning Debbie and OFF family,
Great game! And I agree...crappy commercials!!

Work is busy and my boss who is also my good friend...we really do have a wonderful relationship...her mom is in ICU, please pray for Dorothy and if you don't believe, swing some chickens will ya?

Weekend went by way too fast and I have a feeling this week will fly by even faster.
Step daughter's wedding is this Friday and you gals know there will always be "things" cropping up?? LOL

I plan on going to spin class after work.
Tomorrow we are suppose to get hit with a lot of snow...but heck I live in Michigan, what's new with that?

Spring is just around the corner, it's getting light out earlier.

Glad you all enjoyed the game. I didn'****ch it - can't ever figure out who has the ball or which direction they are supposed to be going.

I need a nap and it is only 1:22 pm. Something is not quite right with me today. Off to bed I go.

Afternoon OFF Family!

Guess I am bringing up some rear too. . .

Back to work today, after being sick with the stomach flu and then the big snowfall, it was tough getting my rear outta the bed. . .  oh well, I made it in and there was a little of this and a bit of that to be done and now it's after 2, so that is good. . .  tomorrow they are thinking there will be another big snow event, we shall see, don't recall any time in my life where we had two big events in less than one week. . .  wondering where and how it will get put. . .  if it comes, it comes, nothing I can do about it, but I'm guessing we will have it around for some time, seeing as the weather is not calling for any temps warmer than 30s for the next week at least. . .

Well hope everyone does ok, no matter where you are or whatcha doing. . .  prayers and good thoughts for all, wishing those with particularly challenging life situations strength to get through whatever you are going through.

Hugs, Laureen

Hello, everyone!

I've had a fairly busy day so I'm late checking in here.  I just got done posting a link for the new group at the main board.  Otherwise, things are finally starting to settle down a little.  I went with my DH to the doctor this morning.  When we got back, I felt really sleepy so I took a nap!  :P  Bye, afternoon, LOL.  Now I'm off to cut up a chicken for dinner.  CYA!

Pretty quiet day at work.  The boss was home sick, so I thought I would get a lot done. I guess I got a lot done, but not enough.  I'm trying my best to get things wrapped up before my surgery (2 weeks from tomorrow!)  I kept running into road blocks while trying to finish some projects.  Those road blocks were in the form of other staff coming into my office, sitting down and wanting to visit.  I tell them that I have a lot to do, but they must think that what they are there to talk about is more important - NOT!  Love all of them, but I just want to get my work done so I can relieve some stress.

Then one of my co-workers sat down and said " Now Wanda, I don't think you realize how much your life is going to change by having this surgery."  Sandy was morbidly obese until about a year and a half ago when she starting losing and exercising.  She is looking great and said today her BMI is 35, so she's still overweight.  She's a wonderful person, but I think she was trying to in a very nice way to tell me that I can do this on my own, because she has.  Well, she HASN'T lost all of her weight and she hasn't been challenged to KEEP it off yet either.   She knows how much research I have done.  I told her I know all too well that there will be challenges.  She said "Just think, you will NEVER be able to eat food the way you do  now or enjoy it."    I wanted to scream "I DON'T WANT TO EAT FOOD THE WAY I DO NOW, BECAUSE THAT'S WHY I'M FAT!"    Like I said, Sandy is a wonderful person and very kind.  The things she said were said in a very nice manner.  She's a nurse and I know she is somewhat worried about me.   I hope she is able to lose the rest of her excess weight and keep it off.  If she does, she will be in the minority of MO people that have such success.

Why can't people just keep their opinions to themselves?
Well, I've ranted on long enough.

I start liquids tomorrow.....

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
