Dr Oz just started.....she's going to talk about her struggle with weight loss and her WLS....
thanks for the heads up on this. I love Dr Oz and it was a good show. He was very firm with her, which she needs. While there, he checked her BP, which was fine, but her glucose showed she was pre-diabetic. She was shocked and in tears.
He did put her onto a program, which is great, but there wasn't any mention what so ever about her WLS, except at the very begining of the interview. I wish he would have addressed that as part of the show. Oh well, they just aren't talking about WLS on tv anymore...

Hi Susan,
yeah I was moved by her reaction.
I thought she seemed a little combative with the Addiction Specialist when she told her to stop blaming the "baby weight".
I hope she does get things under control.
I also hope a lot of naysayers in the world don't jump on this to start saying this alone some how proves weight loss surgery is not the answer. She's been a very public figure for WLS in the past, I hope she doesn't change her tune.

I understand where she was coming from though. Doctors insist you gain ________ amount of weight while you're pregnant, and yes, it means you eat more! Gary works with addicts, and you have to get tough with them, but I think there was some wiggle room on that discussion.
Yeah, any reason that they can find to poo-poo WLS.
