Its Thursday at 1220 Denver time.....

 Hey what is new with all of you guys. Man posts about the share button, weather, other stuff you guys are making me crack up!!!!!
My last day in Denver is tomorrow. I fly back to Tampa at 1am and get home on Friday at 1000am.
I might be a sight for poor eyes cause I would have been up all night!!!!! I hate red eye flights.
It is snowing here and maybe Ill get snowed in!!!!!
I see my surgeon tomorrow. I want to talk to him about the rose procedure. I am hating this 20 pounds!!!!!
Well I need to go to bed so talk on.....

Good morning.  That's for starting us off Carla. 

Things are going pretty good for me.  Easy work night at both jobs.  Had to write someone up for attendance problems.  Honestly was hoping the write-up would cause him to just walk out.  But it didn't.  But on the other hand, he told me my requirements would be something he could not meet.  I told him I will cross that bridge when I come to it.  I hire everyone on for a 6-day work week.  He asked for five days, wanting Saturdays off so he could spend time with his family.  Then, he asked for 13 consecutive Thursdays so he could go to marraige counselling.  I understand it is something he feels he has to do, so I said fine.  So I told him if he misses any other days, I need him to make it up on Thursday or Saturday.  He is unwilling to compromise.  So, the next time he calls in, that will be it.  It is not like we work all day Saturday.  We leave at 1PM.  He would still have half the day to be with his family.  Either you want to work a part time job, or you don't.

Sorry, pardon me for venting.

I was supposed to go to the Stars game Saturday, but that fell through.  So now Mary and I will go to the movies on Saturday afternoon.  Then Mary wants to invite some people over for a game night.  Cool by me.

Guess I should get back to work.

Well, if the man can't deal with the hours then he does need to find a more flexible part time job.  If he's so desperate for extra money though, he needs to just deal with it. for the time he needs to.  You do what you gotta do to support your family and work with what you've got.

Sure sounds to me like you were willing to work with him but he didn't appreciate it and didn't want to bend.  You gotta do what you gotta do and he'll have to deal with consequences of his decisions.

Good morning

I went shopping  for a new scale. The old one weighs me in at a hefty 912 lbs. Driving past my favorite shoe store I saw the "on sale" posters in the window. This store is my second favorite to the jewelry store and almost as expensive.

It didn't take long to find the most comfy pair of dark brown, ankle length Earth boots. That was a heck of a lot more fun than buying a scale, don't you agree?

Weighs you in at 912?  Yeah, you need a new scale!  :)  Ah, Earth boots--they're like Earth shoes right?  I love those things.

Only one store in town carries the Earth brand. They are funky looking but oh so good for comfort.

do you remember Earth shoes from years back ... was it the '70s?  I used to wear them.  yes, funky looking but best shoes ever!
