Hi Carla and my OFF family:

Well, three more days and then I'm outta there. Man, I'm tired of that place and will almost be glad to be gone. My knee has really been bothering me, so I'm fed up with sitting there every night. At least the last couple of nights, I've been busy.

Went out this morning to get groceries and other stuff, so I'm well stocked for a couple of weeks. Especially now with vitamins. Don't think I need to buy vitamins for awhile.

Well, that's all for now. Not much going on here. I've got to get garbage ready for pickup tomorrow morning. Busy, busy, busy. Got to pay some bills online too. Need a nap before I go to work tonight.

Anyway, have a good day.

Not too much going on here.  Michael made dinner last night.  Our friend Lee came for supper and we had salmon cakes and roasted veggies and a salad.  It was delicious!

Today I'm working a regular day, and tomorrow I took the afternoon off!   YAY... my weekend will start a little early.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

Hi All,
It's lunchtime here at school- I can hear the children playing outside my window. Those are such happy sounds. I have meetings all day today...each parent so far has asked "Why does my child have trouble learning?" One was crying the other has two children with major disabilities....that is the hard part of this job. We don't know why.
I am excited about a new committee that i'm on... we are developing a social skills strand of curriculum for our special ed teachers. It will be a team approach, using psychologists, speech therapists, teachers, paraprofessionals- everyone who works with the children. It will be hard work but it will be worth the work.
My granddog Sookie was spayed yesterday. She was subdued yesterday and throwing up- poor baby. She's my little sweetheart!
My husband and I are probably going to the show tonight to watch a live performance of "A Prairie Home Companion" with Garrison Keilor. I'm so looking forward to that.
I'm struggling with grazing and trying to be really careful as my weight has started to creep up. That scares the h--- out of me. I must get a handle on it right away!
Enjoy your day!
