I am still just hopping around with excitement over Nic's results. He is so excited....no hospitals for another 4 months!!! He will actually be home for his birthday this year!
No work today...I am going to kick back and relax...wow do I need that!!

I had a great time surprising my friend!!!!! She was very excited for me to be there for 3 days.
I went to see my surgeon this morning and he doesnt recomend the rose procedure. So I have to go back to basics and do only 700 calories a day for a while protien veggies fruit like atkins. Maybe that is the way to go. I did manage to only have around that much today and I think I did pretty good.
This 20 pounds is killing me.

They got there safely, we are at their house watching the girls; grandpa is napping on the sofa and I just fed the girls lunch. It's almost nap time for them....and maybe me. LOL
Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

I got some sad news last night. My Sister has been attending an excelerated degree program to get her associates degree. They have four hours of class and four hours of meeting with a study group every week. They have no summer break, only two weeks off for the entire year. The program lasts two years. One of the boys (25 yrs. old) from her study group crashed his car on the way home from class and died. After of a year of being in a study group with him and seeing him twice every week, she is crushed with the news.
We are expecting snow but I think the Mid-Atlantic states will get the worst of it. It is supposed to start late evening tonight. Thankfully, I don't need to go to the store.
I need to get a Valentine box of goodies together for my grandkids and get it in the mail the beginning of next week. I try to fill it with games, novelties and money to feed piggy rather than sweets.
Not much planned for the weekend. Hubby filled the woodbox so we can just stay in by the fire. Besides, then I'll get a lot done on the afghan I'm crocheting.
I wasted my lunch hour by going to the police station to pick up the boy scout's dance permit. The woman told me she would leave it with Records and they didn't have it. The woman was out to lunch. So I have to go back another day - so annoyed.

It's overcast here today with promise of a bit of snow late tonite....temps in the low 30's. Just looked out the window and it's already started snowing.
Going to root for the Colts on Sunday -- I originally lived in Indiana most of my childhood. Don't usually watch football but hey this is special.
Finished the towel I was cross stitching, and have started on a pink baby bib for a gal I work with who just had a little girl in December.
Need to get back in my chair and elevate the foot. Feel like a slug!

wow, am I ever late today. I work in a one/two combination room today. It was my first day as a substitute aide. Decided that a Monday/ Friday part time job might be a good thing. Man, I felt like I was herding fleas all day! Those little ones can move. . . fast. . . and in all different directions! It was fun tho. Just 4.5 hours so it didn't kill me. And I actually had fun on playground duty. That wouldn't have been possible prior to WLS for sure! It was so nice to feel like I looked normal" today. No one there had a clue that I once weighed 377lbs. . . Kind of nice to just blend in!
I'm planning to tuck the money away that I earn. It will take a while but I'm hoping to save towards having my oh so flabby inner thighs fixed. Arms and droopy "girls" will stay as they are but the legs are so bad. I have to wear pants 2 sizes too big in the waist and rear to accommodate the thighs."
I planted some bulbs in a wine barrel right after Christmas and they are starting to come up! I had a few friends over for dinner last night as Mike has been out of town. We had a great time and I had enough leftovers that we'll have a nice dinner when he gets home tonight.
I've been giving the "button" thing a lot of thought. For now I think I'll just stay right here and ignore the button. I found the OFF by accident and I think many people do. I still think it's a great place to land when you are just starting this journey. I don't post as often as I used to, but I know this is a great place for support in all areas. I sure don't want it to dry up and go away so I'll be here . I'm more careful about what I post on line than I used to be. If I have something very personal to talk about I tend to private message. It's so late that I don't know if anyone will even see this.
