Good morning Susan and fellow rowers; here's my plan for the day:
B: 3 oz. ham
S: Atkins shake
S: orange
L: chili or Parmesan Oven Baked Talapia if it looks good in the cafe (sometimes it's too dry)
S: apple

S: half of banana before all out cardio water aerobics and the other half later

D: don't know, what ever hubby is cooking!

S: WW ice cream bar or maybe an apple with peanut butter if I need crunch.

Debbiejean, hope the talapia was good. If you're ever out and about and need a good lunch or dinner, IHOP has AMAZING grilled talapia. Yes, IHOP, who would guess?  I order it off the senior menu because the serving is smaller. You can get two sides and I always ask for double broccoli. It also comes with garlic bread, but I tell them to leave that in the kitchen. Who can have just one bite of garlic bread??

Anyway, great meal, $6.99.

HI Susan and friends,

I love this thread too.  It helps me stay on track and accountable for what I eat.

Coffee

Breakfast -  Choc protein drink with half of banana

Snack - String cheese

Lunch -  Turkey roll up with american cheese in the middle

Snack  - Nothing

Dinner -  Could be chili, and a veggie.  That is what I am thinking for now.

Snack - Maybe another protien drink or an atkins bar.  I tried their almond crunch bar , boy it was good.

Mary

I am on my way.  What a ride it has been.

Hi Mary,

My "go to" protein bar is from Atkins, the chocolate chip granola bar that has 17 grams of protein. I keep them at work so if I get really busy and can't eat a "real" meal, I have those to fall back on.

It is a beautiful day...the birds are singing...the snow is melting...mud to go along with that...and the fog is starting to lift.

The hospital called me around 12:30 yesterday and asked me to come to work at 50% more an hour...Did I hesitate???  well, no...But it messed up my eating plan for yesterday and here it is 10:30 and I don't want anything to eat...just my bed.

But my plan is when I get up to have greek yogurt with blueberries (not eaten yesterday)

chicken with veggies...I bought some red bell peppers at the store this morning and my favorite way to fix them is to halve them, put some chunks of pepper jack cheese in them and bake...so I will probably have that tonight.

And then it will be time for bed again!

See??  I don't do very well some days...will try to get a protein drink in and water...but I don't want to sleep all day, nor do I want to stay up all night...

Went to the gym this morning and spent a little over an hour there...will be ready for bed after I do a few things on the computer.

Everyone have a great day - hump day!

yummo on the red peppers!  Do you just put the cheese on them, with no stuffing?? I'm thinking this on my electric grill would be really good, kind of charred.....oh, the possibilities!

You know, all you can do is hope and strive for more good days than so-so or bad ones. That's how life rolls!

Hang in there, my dear one!  I know you're upset and frustrated, but eating/drinking doesn't solve anything.

Is there any way that someone through St Jude's can help? Certainly they must have a way for kids to get there for treatment? Maybe a chat with one of the social workers there

We're here for you.

Love and hugs

I am heartsick....hugs....connie d

I'm sure something, somehow, will and can be worked out. I just know it!
