I don't really know, Janie. I'm 58 and will have mine 2/23. I know there are some on here that had theirs over 60.

I would suggest to call your closest bariatric center and ask them. I'm sure all of them vary on age limits.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

It depends on the surgeon... mine said 60 but others go higher.

Janie....I had my lap RNY in 2008 at the age of 66. It is up to your bariatric surgeon whether you are a candidate or not. Best darn thing I ever did for myself and I've lost 120 pounds and 10 pounds UNDER goal.
