What's new Wednesday?
Staying in for lunch at work. Having a little soup right now. It snowed about an inch last night. Light and fluffy, the kind you can sweep away. Temp. is still below freezing.
Jacki, sorry to hear that Bob is in a nursing home and you have to start from square one to figure out his bookkeeping system. Hang in there. Get some rest and take care of yourself.
Connie, Oh dear. Those poor kids. Keep strong for them.
Pat, Wait till you talk to the surgeon before you take the meds. Even if it needs to be a phone call before you see him. You have gone through so much and it looks good. It's not worth the risk.

Well it's still morning here but just barely. My husband is on the Oregon coast with 3 friends for a few days so while the cat's away. . . .I've been having a great time. Sewing, saw "Leap Year", lunch with a friend. Tomorrow evening I'm having the other 3 women friends whose husbands are along on the trip over for a girl's evening. Making white sauce chicken enchiladas, Mexican rice, salad, and that's about it. We used to go on annual shopping trips but haven't in many years so this will be great time to just spend time chatting.
Days are getting a bit longer and our weather is mild in the 40s and 50s during the day. I have bulbs starting to peep out of the soil! Hope that don't get nipped!
Wondering about Maui Karen. Have I missed a post that she's safely and warmly back in paradise?
I'm headed to the gym in a few minutes. Holding off on my shower til I get the workout in. Third day in a row. Then I need to stop at the store. Nothing very exciting but it's been a nice week. You all take care.

I wasn't feeling well at all this morning so I curled back up and went back to sleep for a few hours. I woke up feeling kind of cranky so reading the new posts on the share button thread didn't help, LOL. I felt really kind of ticked that it doesn't matter how we feel and that we "older" ones have to adjust to the share button. It felt ... insulting? Condescending? I dunno ... I nearly had a tantrum and decided I wouldn't post on OH at all but then a cooler head prevailed so here I am.
Eileen, that's really nice your co-workers will take you out to lunch Friday and that you heard from Brenda.
As for me, not a lot going on. Last night, I was very happy to sit down and watch Lost again but sad to realize this is the last season. It just gets better and better!
Around lunch I played "Uno" with my two kids for an hour. This doesn't seem like anything special except that usually they're really busy with their own lives, computer games and what have you. It was nice to play an old fashioned card game. I have a lot of "catching up" to do with email and blogging and stuff. Plus I think I still want to pout a little about that share button so I'm off now. :)
