LOL!!  The pictures would scare everyone away...

Wow - lots going on.  I hope those that are having surgery, including loved ones, have great outcomes.  Also keeping in my thoughts those who are suffering themselves or with loved ones and those without jobs.  It's a hard way to go.

I've been doing really well.  Now that we have the pattern of how to get Michael to dialysis and back home and still work, I've been just doing what I have to do.  It isn't too bad, and luckily work has been really flexible.  Plus I have another new project making me full-time for a bit, which will help.  Michael's doing well and able to work in between sessions, which is a godsend.  Even though business is down, he still has enough customers to keep him busy.

We are having a friend over for dinner tonight and I'm looking forward to it.  Michael is making salmon cakes (like crab cakes) and we'll have a salad.  It will be nice.  I LOVE the salmon cakes, so I hope there are leftovers.

I think I'm doing better with focusing on protein and not indulging in carbs.  Since i didn't have a loss in weight last week, I'm hoping that changing it up helps.  I'm also riding the exercycle, which will burn a few calories.  Seems like I don't eat that much, but I guess I must.

morning eileen and OFF...

well yesterday i got so mad at myself!!! i packed up the afghan and got it in the mail and i forgot to take a picture of it!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh well...got 3 rows done on the new one i am making for ricks mom. looking pretty. she will like it alot i am sure.

got snow on the ground and its still falling. looks pretty but it can stop anytime because i want spring!!!!!!!!!!

the 6th is the bud shootout (NASCAR) and the daytona 500 is the 14th!!! i can't wait til it starts!!! but then i am usually working and miss most of the races anyhow but it gives rick something to do while i am at work. we are talking about going to the michigan races this year. first one is in june and the next one is in august. i haven't been to any NASCAR races and i so want to go!!! we did see the trucks and haulers on the turnpike once and that was so cool seeing those...also saw some in the reststops but didn't see anyone....oh well it was exciting for us...well me because i never saw any of them that close before.

my pc is giving me some problems this morning moving so slow and trying to read my emails...omg!!!!!!!!! it keeps taking me back to sign in!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR i hope this doesn't give me any trouble posting here!!!!

i see OH still has the "SHARE" button...what part of we do not want it don't they understand?????????????? gezzzz

not much else to talk about so i guess i am going to go make more flowers for the afghan and now bandit wants to go outside so best get going....

I WISH EVERYONE WOULD GO ON THE POST AT THE TOP AND TELL THEM no no IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS THAT WE DONT WANT ALL THE CHANGES THEY COME UP WITH ...IT MAKES OUR COMPUTERS RUN THAT MUCH SLOWER EACH TIME THEY ADD SOME STUPID IDEA ....

Good morning Eileen and everyone.....

I am so angry I can't hardly even express myself!!!
Some of you on Facebook already know this....sorry for the repeat.........

Yesterday as Jamie, Nic and Grace were heading to St Jude's/Memphis the transmission on the Suburban went out....WTF....what else can possible go wrong for these kids!!  They had to call Enterprise and get a Van to finish the trip to Memphis.  About another 4 hour drive. How they are going to afford all this is beyond me. A transmition....now there is a hefty bill too. Not to mention driving a rental car all the way home from Memphis. This is all so unfair. All they want to do is get treatment for Nic so he can live a somewhat normal life. I am in tears!!!

If someone here wins the lottery please remember them!!!!!

PLEASE....PLEASE....PLEASE keep them in your prayers.

I am too upset to write more. Once again thanks for letting me ramble on.......

(((connie))) i am so sorry this is happening to them!!!! isn't there a foundation that supplies transportation to the needy??? gosh when it rains it pours!!!!!!!! wish i could help you out but our funds are so tight right now they squeek!!

will pray that things turn around for them and GOD will find a way to get them help.....take care (((connie)))
