That's on my list, but like I said, haven't found time to read lately, so I haven't been to the library to get it.
It is what it is.

I've heard they're very good but they're also very big (I mean, thick, lol).  I want to read them but will probably do that when I know I have a lot of time free.

I love historical fiction and history ... I'm reading "Devil's Brood" about the end of Eleanor of Aquitane and Henry II's marriage ... fascinating ... if you remember the movie "The Lion in Winter," this is what it's all about. There are two books before this, too. Henry II is the king that was involved in Becket's murder (not implicitly, but pushed the nobles to kill him).

Jani, are you reading Follett's medieval series? Those are two good books.

Eileen, my favorite genre is historical fiction.  I do remember "The Lion In Winter" and "Devil's Brood" sounds like a book I would enjoy.  I wrote down the title and author's name to put on my "wishlist".  Thanks for the tip.  :)

I love the idea and would participate in that thread.  I love to read fiction, mostly character novels, some historic.  Occasionally I read a mystery.  Right now I am reading Moloka'i by Alan Brennert - it's really good.

Thanks for thinking about it, Cassie!

Hi Cassie,

Sounds like a great idea.

I'd like to share something I belong to on line. It's called paperbackswap.com.  If you list your first 10 books, you get 2 credits.  The idea ist that if you order a book, the person pays to have the book shipped to you, it's yours to keep.  If someone requests one of your books, you pay to ship it to them.  If you ship a book, you get a credit, and so on.
It's a lot of fun and a great way to rid your books and get new ones at no cost.

Oh, I love Paperback Swap, Rosey!  I'm Irishcoda there, too!  It's been a *wonderful* way to pick up books and trade back ones I've read.  I would highly recommend the site to any of our OFF bookworms!
