Is it historical fiction or is it non-fiction?  Curious...thanks!

Non fiction. I am interested in because of my grandfather being Druid and the celtic genetics of my roots. This lady struggles between the two religions and her husbands beliefs.

I am normally a mystery type of guy.  Love reading James Patterson.  Like John Grisham.

Right now however, I am reading "Always Looking Up:  The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist".  Written by Michael J. Fox.  I bought it because Mary has Parkinson's Disease.

So far it is rather interesting.  Although it is temporarily put aside while I work on my fantasy baseball.

Hey everyone,

Right now I'm reading Heart Sick by Chelsea Cain.  It's about a serial killer.  I wish I could say I am impressed with it.  It came highly recommended, but I find it's just not keeping my interest and taking me a while to read.  I have two books Sweetheart and another one after this in the series....we'll see if I make it - lol - have a feeling I should have started Twilight before this, but I'll keep you all posted.

I got these books from Paperbackswap.com.  If you haven't joined, you should check it out.  It's a great way to swap books.

Have a great day everyone!

Debbie

Right now I'm reading "Scarpetta Factor" by Patricia Cornwell.  Also started "Two Little Girls in Blue" Mary Higgins Clark *( my mom asked me to read it).  Its really not my taste..I prefer really intense mysteries and murders.  Its my escape from reality.

I'm not really into Mary Higgins Clark either, Marcy.  I do read books written by her and daughter Carol Higgins Clark around the holidays.  The stories are cute when they're centered that time of the year and I definitely want a break from reality the month of December!

I have two Cornwell books waiting to be read.  Scarpeta Factor and Scarpetta.  I read most of that series also, as well as Sue Grafton's stuff.  And the world lost a fun writer in Robert B. Parker recently.  Love his stuff.

I've never read any of Parker's books.  I'll look into that...I also read everything by Jonathan Kellerman, Lisa Gardner, and Anne Perry.  My understanding is that Anne Perry (wonderful author that she is ) was once in prison ( as a teen) for accessory to murder (she helped murder a friend's mother).  Interesting tales...

Parker wrote the books the TV show Spenser for Hire was based on.  He also wrote the books the Jesse Stone TV movies (starring Tom Selleck) were based on.

Let me know what you think of it, George.  It's on my wishlist for this year.  I didn't know that Mary has Parkinson's disease.
