No worries, we'll all do a little rowing for you while you get better. Have you lost weight?
Sure hope you're better soon.

Hi Susan and everyone here and later,

Annette I will take over the oars...  I need the excercise!

B- Protein drink with half of bananna
Snack  - String cheese
Lunch - Chili
Dinner - Chicken and veggies... I think...This could change
Snack - protein drink or a protein bar.  Maybe a few pretzel sticks.   For some reason I like them more than after surgery.

That's my plan..  Nothing special but sticking to my diet.

Mary, do you think it's the salt on the pretzels that you like? I feel like I want to salt everything lately. Hmmm, wonder why?

HI Susan,

It could be the salt.  Which isn't good for many reasons.  One, retaining water.   I am starting to get hungry or just want to snack at night.  I don't know why.  Do you have any suggestions about what to snack on later in the evening?

Thanks

Mary

we enjoy the Jello sugar free puddings for a snack. Only 60 cals and a nice serving size. Apples with some peanut butter, a few pecans or almonds (good crunch factor), Smart Ones mini bag of popcorn, plain, only 100 cals. One or two kernals at a time will last you quite awhile.

Thanks Susan,

Good suggestions.  I haven't seen the popcorn in the stores, but going to make sure I look.   That would be great for me in the evening.  Nuts I have tried.  Stopping is the key word here...lol

Get yourself some of those snack size zip lock bags and portion out a serving of nuts (I go with 11 almonds, or 1/2 the suggested serving. Otherwise, the calorie count is too high) and put the rest away in the freezer!
