Hi Susan  -  a tourtiere is a French Canadain meat pie that has cooked ground pork, cooked hamburg, onions, garlic, cooked potatoes, etc. in it in a really nice pastry.  It's very good, very filling and usually very fattening (at least for me!)

From where I stand, the things that taste the best are usually the worst for us. This is where restraint and moderation come into  the party.  I bet they don't wear hats.....

Weightlossdreamer is almost correct - but I don't use potatoes in mine... and I precook the meat so as to get rid of most of the fat...

OOOOHHHH I love udon soup!  I'm making it this week, probably Thurs or Fri when our "big" winter storm is due.

I use Splenda brown sugar substitute for my home made applesauce. It's double sweet, so you only use half as much. I bet your baked apple is yummo!

A big storm hit me. All I have done for 2 days is run to the bathroom. Nothing is staying down or in. The M&M's shared their tummy bug yet again. Sipping water.

I feel like a bag of bones and look like a truck hit me.

Back to bed and/or the bathroom. Somebody will have to take over my oars.
